Bwahahaha

All due sympathies and all, but Hollywood’s been L.A.'s cesspool for half a century. If I was a remotely religious guy I’d be thinking the big guy upstairs hit the full flush button and brought about an act of God.

But I ain’t… so I won’t… hang on… I already did.

Bit like Paris Hilton oh boohoo. But she can still suck dik though.

Oops that bloody keyboard again

Surprised her voice hasn’t dropped an octave will all that deep throating.

I wonder if there was a bit of “ground effect” that helped out there.

I suppose @BME can answer this question.

Maybe. It’s risky business for sure being so close to the ground and having to nose down during drop so the plane doesen’t pop up in the air and can stall.

Certainly put an end to that 737 over here pretty quick :worried:

Still amazed that the two pilots walked away from that crash.

Sure did they were very lucky. Did they ever find the cause, I can’t remember reading anything.

Ah there it is clipped a ridgeline. That’ll do it.

Yes they apparently clipped a small sand ridge on their way in.

The investigation found that the aircraft “pancaked” when it hit the ground.

This is because after hitting the ridge it basically stalled and flat fell out of the sky, as the low speed and low altitude made it drop straight down onto the soft thick coastal scrub and sand… luckily for them!

I remember watching that was horrible. The 737 pulled out as conditions were bad but the Herc went again. :slightly_frowning_face:

Weren’t they 3 American firefighters?
I remember hearing about this crash, but was a while ago and my memory is hazy these days.

It’s pretty fkn difficult to predict the weather conditions in bushfires where they are constantly changing by every second that passes.

Yes American crew 3 of.

New lamb ad, all about the comments section, wonder what it would be like if they did one about here.

They didn’t mention the thousands of acres of highly explosive Australian Eucalyptus trees?

My city mates were amazed when spotlighting one time it was cold, I said stop gonna light up a porky and have a quick warm up. They’re like what you going to burn a pig hahaha I said no, light a spinifex bush up, they go off for 10mins. Hilarious.

Can do the same with the Blackboys here in WA.
They go up like a Roman Candle :astonished:

Local blackfella taught me a few good handy things that can be used from the Blackboys/Gin trees when out bush too :sunglasses:

That’s the trouble with bushfires out here the Malley scrub is littered with spinifex bushes once they get going they explode the malley trees and it goes off like a bomb.

This national park next door is ready to go again heaps of fuel in it looking at it recently. Been 11 years since last time.

Got the same here with whats normally known as fountain/pampas grass, I call it Southwest Spinafex!

Horrible shit that spreads everywhere and highly flammable by just looking at it :astonished:

Pretty certain it’s these types of plants that spark the majority of our bushfires as they are so highly susceptible to combustion from the slightest source.
