Detention Centre Kooralbyn

Mate, sounds like a perfect day out to celebrate your Birthday!

I couldn’t think of anything else I’d rather be doing! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

unfortunately required to socialise with the family

but i concur, wish i could be there.

yea I wouldn’t go either being birthday boy. One paintball session the organisers said to BDboy after game, stand here and cover your nuts, you are getting lit up by both teams. Happy Birthday mate.

Nearly two hours for me :flushed:

Lucky Donnybrook and Crossfire are just up the road… not that I ever skirmish these days.

Hard to be competitive when you can’t bend or crouch… like a duck in a shooting gallery.

Nearly 3 hours each way for me so nah, plus i dont have any gel blasters right now and i refuse to get up at 3 am to start driving at 4 am in this cold.

Would rather play at donnybrook honestly since its so much closer to me and theres a few forum members that go there.

Wont lie, looks pretty cool though.

Oh you are lucky! waking up at 3am to start at 4am is just a normal work day for me!

Tell me about it. I’ll have a sleep in tomorrow got the day off. Bing off goes the body clock. Oh well so much for that. :joy:

Sorry guys, that’s a hard pass for me too.
Would have to get up early…
2 days before!:face_exhaling:

Even though there’s no Tolls!:joy::joy::joy:

Saves fuel aswell so bonus money.

Saves Diesel is all good if I took the old TD42 Patrol, but doesn’t say that I’d save any Petrol if I drove the Subaru instead!

Pretty sure that little warning at the bottom of the screen is regarding Time Zones, meaning that I’d actually have to leave 3 days earlier to arrive on time in the East.

Would have to call in to @Maiphut 's on the way for a halfway pitstop though, which means that 3 day drive might take a week or more!:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Fuck I’m lucky to be home from work by 4am lol, getting to sleep soon after, not a chance :joy:

Yeah, you’re living the lifestyle of a fruit bat with all that shift work hey?

I couldn’t do it… it’d drive me nuts.

Did 12 years of rotating shift work, 12 hour shifts. Paid for the lifestyle we now have but certainly comes at a cost. Try not to do it forever if possible :+1:

Oh fun, did rotating shift work for a few years. Talk about mucking the body clock up.

I always refused those sorts of shifts, only ever did the occasion nightshifts when the shit hit the fan somewhere out in the Refinery or Mine site and the company was losing BIG money every single hour that production was halted.

In saying that though, most of my life spent on Farms and Stockyards were 3 am rises for 4 am starts and 6 - 7 pm knockoffs on a good day, and 1-2 am on a bad day!

Farm wages and the Tax Man meant that did it all for absolute peanuts!

I’ve been doing nightshift for probably around 9 years now, with the odd week or two of dayshift sparingly mixed in, usually around the holidays when my industry slows down

Beats long hours working in the sun outdoors all day, but definitely takes a toll on the body clock and can stuff up weekends with the family.

Definitely not ideal

I occasionally do a bit of night work during summer. Purely so I don’t get burnt to a crisp and eat flies.

I nearly just ate a fly… was floating around in my wine glass.

Fished him out alive, but definitely merry.

I can smell that roast from here :yum:

Give it a few more hours and I might also get a whiff of it over here!:joy:
