Net result…their best offer…is still a big downgrade of their plan.

Anyway… what a weekend!
Sick and worked on Thursday… then Friday I was alright so… time to hook in!
Three blasters done, three more started and underway waiting for parts or adhesive to cure, two videos near completion, and got time to have dinner and a movie with the missus… now I’m ready for a weekend… shit it’s Monday!
Was meant to go for a game Sunday but canned due to weather concerns. I can’t afford to go arse up in the mud, time off isn’t an option for me. So got some work done instead.
Oh well back to work it is. Almost on top of the post holiday backlog pile for now until the next lot rolls in.
Looks like my mosfets and parts orders are coming this week too, yew! Why am I excited about “more work”? Well, I’ll be able to complete a couple of jobs when they arrive, hoping this weekend can see me nearly caught up, with a bit of luck I might be able to get to one of my own blasters!

I like to keep busy… but I’m trying to claw back a bit of me time, lucky for you lot I like making videos for fun and relaxation! Currently enough video footage to get through to last the next month! And I’ve got a few jobs and things to add to that yet.

Thanks to everyone that was awesome. It was a hoot… until it wasn’t - last week was the most painful yet, and in reaction I decided to hoard the remainder rather than deal with the public and sell it. Stuff it I said.
If the good lad regulars here had their eyes on anything that was left, or need internal parts send me a message and ask. If you are a general public punter- back to you lurking leave me alone lol

Thanks everyone. As I said, been a hoot, mostly rewarding despite it ending in being a fruitless business effort thanks to our government and the import laws changing timing being the absolute worst.
I didn’t do it for the money, fortunately as there was no point from a business aspect doing it at all. If I gave myself an hourly wage for it I would be paid mere cents an hour!
There may be a break in content on the toob toobs, may not be, see how I feel about it as the week goes on! I have one more near ready to go, and a few others to do as well, just need some time and motivation.
I do have plenty of my own projects that have been sorely neglected over the last year in favour of customers work, and a few mates things to do still.
I do like reviewing things. See what the future brings!
You can be sure whatever I do now, will be far more enjoyable, with less stress and time constraints.
Removing myself from retail, and tech services now is pretty good timing…
I am burnt out.
I didn’t notice how burnt out until numerous bad experiences all happened at once.
Auspost… All 3 complaints last week, are the only complaints on my business record!
A select few customers made a difficult week far more difficult to endure.
I have no ill thoughts to them, I just hope they are more considerate to others in the future.
They are toys, situations can be rectified, not everything needs to happen right now. You will survive a few days I promise you! Being considerate to others gets better outcomes!
So, considering I was already planning an exit, this all just fast tracked the timing.
Anyway, while it sounds bleak… it really has been fun and rewarding serving you all.
While there certainly were MANY challenging times, I don’t regret doing it, I hold no grudges, I wish all concerned nothing but the best, and I hope the hobby/sport/industry can continue and flourish.
I still love it, no regrets. Time for some me time, time with friends and family, and some play time!

Anyway, I have some tech jobs to wrap up before calling it, but I will then be spending the majority of my efforts on my stuff, friends, friends of friends, existing customers, that sort of thing. No more working 7 days a week, and answering calls and messages at all hours of every day.
Looking forward to a more sedate schedule, and the odd weekend off!

Oh man what a ride it has been! Seriously thanks for everything ROK, you have been awesome and i have always appreciated everything you have done and try and do for us as a community. Im sure ill be asking some techy questions in the future but for now Rest up matey if anyone has deserved it more. You have done the lords work in my opinion, one day when im down south ill be sure to shout you a beer or more!
