Ok, had a look.

Pulled the foregrip lever off, and tried to fit the mold…

Its a very very, tight fit.

The mold was designed to fit onto its own molded piece, i had to flex this on a fair bit.

The barrel, as is, is too thick to fit into the current barrel hole.
There is not much material to be able to remove from the mold, and perforation is probable.

The outer barrel appears to be 2 piece, perhaps some of the outer barrel can be removed.
Either way, there would have to be some extensive filing and modification done, to the inside of the mold, to make it fit…

needs to go forward a bit…

I sorta wonder if its even worth it, i have a finished kit version already.

This potential project is just to make a gelblaster version…that fires single shot, at 140 fps…but it does have a hefty metal frame…

Yay, or Nay.?.?

I can see why you are hesitant mate, I would be too if looking to have to “hack into” such a nice Pistol and the rare kit parts to get everything to fit.:astonished:

It’s a bridge that you’ll have to cross on your own mate, cause I couldn’t bring myself to do it… especially if I had another RoboCop Pistol replica on the shelf already

I’ll see if i can get a folding stock for it…triggertoy sells them with the stock.
If yes, i’ll probably leave it…it is purdy.
I’ll cut some timber grips to fit, the left side needs some modifications to fit.

Its a shame we cant get the MLF elec semi beretta’s in.

I have another kit designed to fit onto that pistol specifically, and it gives you a 190+ fps , elec, semi auto model.

Smaller than the original, but good enough…

Maybe we might have some luck later…

whats the reason behind not being able to get it in? too realistic looking? shell ejection?

Problems getting ANY type of single blaster, out of china recently…

I’m assuming by your wording “single blaster” that even if you bought two you’d possibly still run into issues and would require in excess of 5-10+ would be the only way around it if it is only single blaster imports experiencing issues from china.

wonder how many it would take

Suppliers have no probs getting their large orders in.

Previously, i have had no probs ordering in (single) blasters.

They are now , for whatever reason, making it very difficult to export single items from china.

Dont know why, or how long this will go on for.

Oh stop it man I just blew my wallet inside out

Looks so cool though. Love the 93R. Hope you have a merry Christmas :+1:

Fair bit of effort to Murphy it. Go Travolta looks wicked  :+1:

HAPPY NEW YEAR…!! From ABF.

Look what turned up today, from china…

BURTON BITS !!

Ive been waiting on a restock on these, for some time.

If anything was going to have ABF paratroopers rappeling in through the windows at 3am, this slide would have been it…!!

All jokes aside, its interesting to note that while SYD has withheld a nylon M4, this metal slide has made it through.

I can only assume this flight must have landed in brisbane, and ABF saw my current B709 for importing a gelblaster beretta… maybe they can also scan the density and see its only potmetal / not a real part.

Im thankful, anyway…

Anyway the slide is for the (non glossy) gen 1 burton.
The slide is brigader grip, and STARS engraved…
The other bit is for finishing off the extended mag.

A lot of work to change it over, with no guarantees, the current gen1 burton is TM spec, and the slide may not be compatible.

Might have to import a WE tech frame, and build it from scratch, with parts…!!

Or , maybe tacedge will bring in another shipment of RE blasters, and i can do a mix and match.

More excited about finishing off the 2nd extended mag, than the slide, at this stage…

Pick a leaky DB mag, and lets go…!!

Awesome!

Busy time of year for ABF. Probly still hungover from trying to blow the Sydney harbour up with fireworks.

Got all the bits…
Now, about that gas seal…

Went to X force, got a new DB mag, and had it installed there.
Left with a slow leak from the base (bigger, thinner oring)

Called into bunnings to get some plumbers tape , to try to improve the seal.

Pulled it apart again at home, taped it up…Now its worse.

And, getting those bloody pins back in…i swear, you need a vice to hold the base and flex the holes into alignment.

Hard work without it.

And, might need to remove a bit of material, from the mag retention slot on the mag, to have the retention latch properly engage…

The extended base, on the bottom , stops the mag from going up 100%…

putting the new RE grips to use…

Plain wood off the frankenblaster, RE grips on…

They make anything look good…

The ‘silver’ on the DB’s is of dubious longevity…

Look at the colour difference already occuring, with the grips off…
Yellowing. Its not glue residue.

Comparo of “real vs fake”.

The DB is a lot more shiny, the WE tech is a flatter silver.

WE tech build is better quality, smoother, full auto, and a bit more refined.

Word is, Tac edge is looking at bringing more WE tech RE’s in.
Im sure they’d be popular.

My WE tech mag, still holds gas and doesn’t leak, after all this time…

All in all, the DB makes for a decent enough knock off…it even has a brigadier grip.

Good to see the complaints form directly underneath. That’ll sort it out

" At ANZ, your call is important to us.
Please be prepared to wait 2.5 hrs, before we ‘accidently’ hang up on you…

And remember…no abusive behaviour will be tolerated"…!!!

“But we are here to protect your billions.” WTF you on about lady

I’ve got a brass razoo will that do it

ANZ used to be good but seemed to have slipped a bit lately.

CBA not much better, I bought a couple small dollar items from China and they fried my card. I was wtf you doing. 8 fkn hours later after 20 msgs and security checks. Oh my lord, and the new one doesen’t work properly. How the hell do I conduct business when it doesen’t work.

Well, the grips turned up from Ali express…

A bit of drilling, and they went on quite easily…

Nice and tight fit.!

Similar style to the RE grips, but real wood.
Nice texture and feel.

They terminate at the mag bottom / dont go down and wrap around to meet underneath, ala RE grips.

Got them on Aliexpress, for around $48 plus postage from turkey, around $85 all up.

You can get wood 1911 grips from there, for around $10…
