I was going to wait until tax time where I was hoping theyād have the 70% off sale again but apparently thereās low numbers of stock of the JG works m16a1ās left, didnāt want to miss out again after missing out last year

For those with mp5ās kicking around,
I donāt think youād get a gearbox cheaper than this.
It is nylon after all, but metal gearsā¦
For the cost of a chocolate milkā¦ spare gearbox.!

Itās a War Interest boxā¦ very crappy, shit shells, prone to failure, usually end up in the bin and you can bet your life the gears in it will be the cheapest of the cheapest cast recycled wok metal jobbies. 
ābuilt for durabilityāā¦ yeah, nope. 
Tell you what though, BMEā¦ worth buying just to keep as a bench gearbox if you want to get the olā gearbox building and shimming skills up. Crappy as it is, itās still a V2.
Screw that box up, care factor zero.

I spent the arvo, pulling my $17 ausgel v2 gearbox apart, and back together againā¦
It seems to have all gone back together, just need a motor to test itā¦
The LDT should be a very cheap practise gearboxā¦
@shadow187 might want to get one as well, for practiseā¦

At under $9ā¦ canāt go wrong if you own an mp5.
Barrel and tpiece alone is worth itā¦
Worth it just for the selector plate, good nylon cylinder head, cut off lever, mp5 nylon trigger, ar latchā¦ not bad at all!
If you have an ldt mp5ā¦ solid investment, hell Iād buy it just for the spares I listed! The rest can go in the bin of free spares for those in need.

I know there were issues with these, who was it that started a conversion on these to drop a gen 8 in them? I think it was a gen 8 they were throwing in it
The dart blaster version is still $375
Even if not converting to gen 8 for better performance, itās a cheaper option for a wall hanger

Still really disappointed they didnāt attempt to convert the TM version, but I did want one as a collectible anyway.
Still havenāt got mine going to a usable standard, Iāve seen videos of other peopleās and they were getting some decent range out of them for what they are.
