Upcoming Blasters and Products

Looks a lot closer to the real deal than the one from M16Gelblasters with the pic rails all over it.

I just bought the G28 from WAT. The blaster itself is beautiful and of high quality. I also bought the M110a1 from them ( not available on their website yet)

Post some pictures, we’d love to see it :+1:

Interesting that DMR platforms are becoming more popular these days…

I’m all for it… better than a sea of AR based carbines. :+1:

Definitely pics please… we wanna see.

whats the m110a1 go for

Is the M110A1 similar to the Ares/LDT release from a few years back? :man_shrugging:

found this, not sure if it’s the same release old mates just picked up

$849

hopefully get the KAC M110 as well

Nope, it’ll be this one…

Straight from WAT’s site… damn fine looking DMR… me likey very much.

I built up an M110 years ago on the M4 platform but the 5.56 mag let it down. Couldn’t afford the Ares/LDT variant.

Can’t afford this one either… yikes!

It’s weird that the M110 is a 762 version of a M4/AR-15 platform but a M110a1 is a 762 version of a HK416(HK417) platform, cause that’s not confusing at all, stupid military having to change designations ‘n’ shit.

As soon as I looked at that cyber trigger I thought " that’s not a M110 that’s a HK417", but then looking into… They’re also referred to as the G27… So we got 3 designations for basically the same rifle…

That does look sexy but oof, I can’t justify that price.

There was a cheap nylon M110 at X-Force I saw not long ago for about $200>$300, don’t know how plentiful mags are though.

Confusing…

As I understand it, the M110 is based on an AR10 direct impingement setup in 7.62 caliber.
Looking at the WAT photo that looks to be what that is. Same as the earlier Ares M110.l with the solid buttstock.

So the M110A1s we’re talking about here are H&K 417s? The ones with the increased cylinder volume?

Just to cloud the issue even more, iHobby are selling CYMA Platinum M110/SR25 blasters that look like they run standard M4 mags / 5.56 caliber. :man_shrugging:

I still prefer the styling on the Ares… an HK417 with that taller gas piston handguard and buffer tube/stock setup doesn’t do it for me.

Ok…

Sten coming inbound…

As per china larger parcels, this has been sent in two packages.

Parcel 1, is in SYD, awaiting clearance.
Parcel 2, no tracking number as of yet.

Its not going to be a big performer OOTB, around 160-180 fps.
Perhaps partly, because it can either eject shells, or fire gels.

But lets see what gearbox its running, and what mods can be done, to sauce it up…

I suspect when local suppliers finally get them , they will have to trick them up to at least 250+ fps, to sell them…

yeah so the M110/M110 is based on the AR10 design (as you said) sharing the majority of parts with the AR15, being interchangeable.

But then now you got the M110a1 which is based on the HK417 platform and shares no relation to the previous M1110 platform. I’d hate to be the guy ordering parts for these things…

This was the blaster I saw, SR25 but don’t know this KA and if there doesn’t seem to be any spare mags for it. only has nylon internals but it wouldn’t be a bad start for a build

Sex on wheels… my bad I cracked a wood  :+1:

What the fuck word salad did I just read :person_shrugging:

I guess you do not know the US procurement program that produced the above models. Research it.

Nice work I can edit too

Lose that buffer tube and put on an AR15 solid buttstock and then… maybe… :man_shrugging:

But it wouldn’t be adjustable and to get that feature you’d need to buy one from Knight’s Armament for US$556…

yeah… nah… nope!

Hey you sound like the US military procurement program to fill their CSASS void and went with H&K that had a ready built shorter 308 which got the M110A1 contract.

Then Navy got involved and Knights signed up for the M110A2 contract that is the M110 with MLOK.

Then Socom NSWC Crane got on the bandwagon and ordered K1 14.5" conversion kits to 6.5mm Creedmoor. M110KA3 for the original M110.

In a nutshell the M110 series is an AR10 type DMR that had use shifts to fill immediate on ground gaps that the 556 could not fill during GWOT was especially a problem. Even ADF sought immediate buy order of HK417 to supply CDO regiment in Afghanisthan for the extended combat ranges.

Knights SR25 platform is the OG M110. US Military wanted a big order in the A1 and Knights just don’t have the manufacture capacity and long lead times which enter H&K had one ready to go so they got the A1 contract. Then Knights are back with the A2 and A3 contracts for the various sections of the US Military.

M110A1…

M110A1 CSASS

H&K piston gun. 46mill contract for a few thousand of them that got delivered for CSASS and SDMR roles.

They found the H&K is not as accurate as the DI Knights M110 so gone back with them now kitting them out for whatever their needs are in A2 and A3 short 14.5" or 22" 7.62 or 6.5 Bleedmore.
