The problem I see with that is you would get maybe 2 or 3 pumps worth out of something that small, it might make sense for the super shorty’s but not practical for any of the others.
The mechanism is completely different between the two so there’s not really any comparison, one being only a single gel and the other firing at least 3 (assuming it operates the same as airsoft).
I’d very much rather have the extra ammo and have the bit of clear plastic sticking out than having to change shells every 2nd or 3rd shot.
Yeah, a flush mag would give you a capacity of about 12 gels, not much.
That wouldn’t worry me, I live with a 25 gel capacity M97 manual fitted with a restrictor to limit gel feed down to one per pump and, let’s face it, the larger mag for the XYL would always be there if you wanted the extra capacity anyway.
“ If you go hard and overpenetrate a target,
You can cause harm and quickly phark it
Best to give it a light caress,
And accost it with much lower fps”.
It says in the product description that it uses an Eshooter brand MOSFET, which are a common item in Airsoft from what I’ve heard previously, but definitely must be quite a few changes to the old Orange gearbox to accommodate the blowback and FCU contacts.
The first CYMA that I bought had the alloy heat shield under the grip and had a gas tube (solid metal rod). Both got replaced with a metal outer barrel, a Geisselle handguard and fake gas block
We have huge sunk cost on package returned so we prefer to send them in a legal way now. If the other vendors can absorb the risk, you can have a try definitely!
I was never proposing AKgelblaster break the law… i was merely seeking clarification.
I have one supplier saying its now fine to send metal blasters.
If AKgelblaster was now able to send one through the post, I would have ordered from her.
I thought the rest of you may have benefitted from that update.
