I got this kit from Sky-Blue Studio(天蓝造物)
Today, we are sharing the LMT Defense company’s 11.5-inch MLOK integrated upper receiver kit, with the official nickname “Specwar” (likely referring to Special Warfare).

Today’s review is about this kit from Sky-Blue Craft. The kit contains the main body, outer tube, gas block, and outer tube clamp. The throwaway window cover and pull handle, as well as auxiliary push handle, are not included, requiring additional purchase.
Visually, the kit’s reproduction is quite good. It is about 48cm long (excluding the outer tube), matching the total length of AR15 upper receiver and 11.5-inch buttstock.
In terms of overall craftsmanship, it is still acceptable. Although it is made via 3D printing, the surface texture is not too oily, and the detailing is still decent. The MLOK interface can be fitted with various tactical accessories. The overall strength and toughness of the piece is relatively good compared to printed parts.
The outer tube is a standard 14mm threaded interface. Here, a CYMA original orange primer is installed directly. The overall fit is similar to a standard AR15 upper receiver.
However, there are two nuts installed near the front end of the outer tube to secure the gas block. The gas block is fixed in the outer tube using two screws, with a groove for the screws.
Overall, the fit is very secure with the CYMA upper. However, the auxiliary push handle I have is already glued, making it impossible to transfer. Still, the overall assembly and pairing effects are quite good. The details are not perfect, but they are still acceptable.
I tested the kit on my Jing Ji SLR Gen2 upper receiver, and it works fine, showing good compatibility.
For heavy-duty components like this, cast aluminum or CNC-machined metal would be the best solution. However, the price would also increase. In summary, this is an additional option for the AR-15 market.
