3D Printing Hobby

I can’t find the other thread we were using for 3D printed stuff Saph made so I’m going to assume it was deleted for some reason.

So here’s a dedicated thread for anything 3D printer related, be it parts/projects/news etc.

On that note, got the beast unpacked now to get it calibrated and printing

Got a couple of things lined up just waiting on hardened steel nozzles and CF PETG.

This is for a 330fps worker kunlun foam dart. Should tighten the groups up nicely.
Would like to build one of these but not sure I can source all the parts. https://www.printables.com/model/925931-flp-05-the-springer-perilous

I’d imagine some of those parts would be available from a nerf shop, otherwise Ali is a good place for random bits.

Foam dart parts seem scarcer than gel blaster at the moment. I want to build a 450fps Sabre but Foamworks have them on back order and direct from Singapore means B709A hurdles.

Yes your assumptions were correct.
Saph decided to remove the Topic due to the current unknown circumstances regarding the new Firearms Laws.

Erring on the side of caution to keep this Forum safe and not attracting any excuses from the Authorities that people are making parts illegally.

I have changed the title of this thread accordingly and would be happy for other opinions from our community regarding these matters.

Had gotten messages from both Saph and Rok in regards to that thanks.

It’s a frustrating how laws seem to be more opinionated than factual these days.

I intended this thread to be more about the 3D printers and any projects rather than just about blasters.

No worries mate, and thanks for keeping this section of our hobby growing.
It’s just a shaky subject matter at the moment and we are all trying to do our best to comply with the fog of uncertain legalities at this point in time.

Nobody is wanting to censor or restrict our hobbies, but have to walk the tightrope of keeping everything as “above the law” as we can right now. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Can’t talk about toys or import them but they sure can import another 500,000 uber drivers. I recognise this country a little less every day.

And you know which ones more damaging to the our economy…

In recent two days been trying to utilize TianGong ARP9 adapter that lets you switch buttstock with common ones. It was pain to assemble, wire is too short and hole is too small. After excessive drilling I managed to make it work, it wobbles but I’m happy that I managed to change body of nonmodular blaster. Needs sanding and painting though, in current state adapter looks a bit out of place.

If anyone needs it, here. https://makerworld.com/en/models/2013439-tian-gong-arp9-standard-stock-core-adapter?from=search#profileId-2169152

You know what also needs sanding and painting? LeHui MP9’s “suppressor”

Lack of threatening made me not sure at first but turns out it installs internally. Hollow inside, will try to integrate fire emiter thingy inside when it arrives. Also printed snap-on magwell that fitted well and quickpull thingy that tend to get off the mag.

Can’t find magwell link. It’s either OP deleted it or I’m just being blind.

You know what also I’ll try to make functional when needed things will arrive? ADAR

This one is WIP tho, so we’ll talk about it later someday

I’ve made a couple of those, based on the JM Gen8 blaster, pretty much just a swap of the frontend and buttstock. Had printed one in a wood filament and stained it, came out pretty well and being a Gen8 base they’re reliable, haven’t modified any of the internals but it’s one of my go too’s.

Didn’t have any of the progress photos.

There were a couple of other versions around but they involved more stuffing around and don’t fit right on the receivers I had.

That’s cool!

My situation is different though, I printed entire body. Currently stuck with charging handles, those I had simply too thick and it’s hard to find any thin ones, especially those that will work with JM gen9 gearbox. I ordered some that looks like it has a chance, waiting for it
