They make a sa58 with a full length handguard Classic Army SA58 Full Size FAL Gel Blaster | Tactical Edge – Tactical Edge Hobbies , from there you could attach the wood furniture without modification and remove the bird cage muzzle brake and attach a proprietary threaded external barrel to resemble the 11’ inch barrel and then finally borrow the muzzle brake from the m14 and your l1a1 looking rifle is complete

The idea of converting an SA58 into a half decent L1A1 has been kicked around for years. Have a gander a few posts up and you’ll see the discussion about converting an SA58.
There are lots of differences in the receiver that stop it being a good candidate for an accurate replica. Ain’t no place for a top pic rail on an accurate FAL.
It’ll be close, which may be the best we can hope for… but it won’t be quite right. 
I mean, you could even just extend the outer barrel and be done, later FALs did have polymer furniture anyway. But if you’re going wood, you really want that receiver to be correct.

I ordered it…turns out they didn’t have it in stock, and gave me a refund.
So, i kinda just left the whole project…not a huge MUST HAVE item for me.
At least, M-60’s are now available again, for you to purchase…

Taidi were the closest with their FAL hybrid long boy… but even that was pretty inaccurate.
Shame you can’t get a hold of one of those… mill the pic rail off the top of the receiver, wooden furniture… pretty close.
