AK gel blasters cyma ak-47 thoughts

So I am thinking about getting the CYMA ak-47 from akgelblasters and I was wondering if anyone has some experience with it and could tell me if it is good?

They are just your typical CYMA Blaster with the orange gearbox and budget quality details.

Nothing wrong with them at all, basically the same performance and everything else as a CYMA M4 CQB.

Iā€™ve had a CYMA AK-47 in the past. Great little low cost blaster.

IMO, gearbox wise theyā€™re more reliable than the old RX AKMs, had one of those too. :+1: Those orange CYMA boxes are definitely up there for a nylon gearbox.

I thought the build quality of the RX was superior to the CYMA. I found the CYMA a little flimsy and lightweight by comparison, and the faux wood plastic furniture on the RX looked better being darker. But thatā€™s nothing a can of paint and a little imagination canā€™t address.

Iā€™d have no problem recommending a CYMA AKā€¦ theyā€™re not stellar, but very decent, solid and reliable. :+1:

My first AK had to be APS, they didnā€™t even know what to name it. It was a test model for Azraels which was verboten to mention but been years now so see if I care. Feedback was given on a few things wrong but it was chunky and the forend they put on it sucked bawls. Took me a few weeks to fettle the very heavy forend in to something I was satisfied with.

APS V3 gearbox rocked solid while everyone complained APS suck but didnā€™t realize they were talking about V2 APS. Whatever like talking to a brick wall.

They work well, can take some upgrades no problem but they always shot gels well I found.

They donā€™t feel great, but everything else works and shoots great and they are pretty reliable fun.

@Maiphut yes 100% aps V2 is a turd, but their V3 is tough as, and handles upgrades no problem with blowback disabled! Brand name stained their v3s way more than deserved.

can you recommend a different AK?

Thereā€™s nothing wrong with the CYMA AK, it just depends upon how much you want to spend and if you are looking for something as a daily blaster or a quality replica?

Double Bell products seem to be the most popular for quality and performance at the moment, so maybe look at their AK range and see what takes your fancy :+1:

If youā€™re not hung up on having a full size AK47 and youā€™re looking for a budget AKā€¦

Jin Ming AK-74U J12ā€¦ punch well above their weight. I know DocBobā€™s got a soft spot for these. :+1:

Double AKs are good.
The jinming j12 is a great value blasters, also can be upgraded quite nicely too. I would say is a better out if the box ak than cyma, mainly as it feels better. More nylon than that abs plastic feel.

I have used my j12 more than the two double bell AKs I own, so that says something!

Completely agree, where no matter how much I spent on the most expensive brand name new release AKā€™s at the timeā€¦the good old JM J12 was always in a league of its own! :astonished::raised_hands:
