got my recoil buffer today should i glue the rubber on or just leave the aluminium without the rubber (red ring is the rubber)

The rubber is just a “Short Stroke” buffer, you can add more of them in the get snappier recoil. No need to glue. In real steel it’s use to soften the recoil but in GBBR you can put it in the buffer tube first if you want snappier recoil. Then add spring and metal buffer… Put the rubber in last to soften the recoil a bit.
