Aztech apache head and nozzle (DB M4SS)

Documenting my experience with the v2 apache on my double bell.

Out of the box the nozzle is dramatically narrower then the standard nozzle (both rubber and nozzle) fitted the apache as is and it was a confetti cannon and had feeding issues.

Today I tried to replicate the exact retraced and extended position of the standard setup, stock in retracted position the end of the tip sits 9mm from the gearbox case, and extended 17.5mm.

the Apaches nozzle was 2mm too long so i cut it back and chamfered it. I removed the rubber tip from my standard nozzle and fitted it over the apache rubber tip, fits perfectly.

Fitted the apache and measured everything out to 9mm and 17.5mm.

Theoretically it should have worked but it was still destroying the gels at impact and whatever came out whole was at a low FPS.

The main reason for the apache was to reduce the blow by at the nozzle as it does not run a oring and such a nozzle doesn’t exist.

What i ended up doing was blowing out the end of my standard head tube a couple of thous with a screwdriver then fit the nozzle back this silicone oil (moved freely)

Increased the FPS from 320 to 350
