That’s horrific leaving the sheep their in pain for hours I probably would’ve raced home and try grab my gun if I was in that situation makes me feel sick when people just leave animals their in pain to die
Wasn’t possible as I was an hours travel away and working for the guy. But still I kept hounding him until the right thing got done.
The way some farmers operate is an absolute disgrace and makes a bad name for the rest of us from people not familiar with the whole thing. We get blanket blamed as a whole.
Rest assured the bad ones are the ones that go broke very quickly. Some in my area I’ve had to report to animal welfare and primary industries as it was effecting my business.
As an example a neighbors sheep all jumped the fence on to my property. I ring the owner, you must be out of water or feed, come get your sheep back please as I impounded them in my stock yards. Oh can I do it, I’m busy on holidays in Thailand. I didn’t make that up either. 
He went bust and is no longer about.
