I have 3 of the SkyRC iMax B6AC models, it made sense as it didn’t need an external power pack, since I am only using it where 240v exists anyway.
I made all the adaptors, though most of my stuff is deans plugs the adaptors are handy for working with other peoples blasters and batteries.
Most of my adaptors were made from plugs that are left over from changing to deans, dead batteries or changed out wiring kits etc.
I was just downstairs doing some wiring on an MP7, found some loose connectors in my stash of trash so knocked up the mini Tamiya adaptor that you need…
Yours if you want it… gratis, of course.
oh wow awesome, cheers man, I’ll inbox you later
thank you so much, much appreciated
ok so I’ve ordered
wondering if I should’ve got this one
but confused if I’ve got the legit one or not because I noticed in the video friendly posted guido’s using one like the first pic I posted a few posts back that I was warned off as it was most likely a knock off
confussion like a concussion
You’ll know if it’s legit, when you receive it look for the holographic sticker on the back.
The other telltale used to be the colour of the box it comes in… white box legit, black box not. The fake’s are almost indistinguishable visually so not easy to tell from a video.
If it proves to be safe send it back and get a refund, or run it. That’s up to you.
Yep, there ya go…
Ooo it’s got a scratch n sniff… was it Bananna flavour I haven’t tried one of those for awhile
Good stuff
nah strawberry shortcake
Nothing wrong with those cheap knock off SkyRC chargers.
A British Electronics Wizz thoroughly tested them out and were within 2-3% of accuracy as the genuine ones.
They have cheaper buttons and power coils, but all functions and safety parameters still work within the ranges programmed into them.
I have one of each myself, handy for charging two batteries at a time!
yeah I’m kinda spewing now cuz the other one I looked at had the charger included, not sold separately like the one I bought, and also came with a range of adaptors, still waiting on the one from eBay I ordered to arrive,
bloody Aramex couriers are shockingly slow and unreliable
Yeah there’s two types available.
One is the 240V AC house charger, or the 12V DC Car Battery charger.
The car charger is obviously for use out in the wilderness and is a little cheaper than the household 240V unit.
I have the 240V ones simply because I charged all of my batteries before heading out to games, whereas in the RC Car/Aircraft hobby, batteries need to be charged quite frequently out in the field… which my old man would back up when I would flatten his 4WD battery when I was out racing RC Cars/Buggies back when I was much younger!
