"Come Quietly, or there will be Trouble"...( No, not a mother in law porno..Robocop Auto 9!)

Do you guys appreciate my sense of humour??

Ok, my Robocop gel add-on parts kit arrived today.
Good news is, it got in with no b709, and all the parts were there.

Bad news, its custom made, to intimately fit , the MIF Electric M92, from m416 gelblasters…

And, no custom robocop grips ( but the listing never promised them).

Basically, the issues are this… barrel fitting into the kit , retention clips fitting onto the trigger guard, removing the rear sight, mag extender retention.

All of these issues, would work on the MIF M92.

One at a time…

1: Nwell.
The barrel wont fit into the available hole, into the kit. Yes, you could widen it, but that would make it looser, and loose more retention. Without solving the other issues above. The retention is achieved, by the custom trigger guard clip, on each side.

The Nwell trigger guard does fit, but with a little slop. I suspect it fits better on the MIF.

The barrel doesn’t fit in…but it fits on the lower rounded frame, when the slide is back…

With the DB, the barrel DOES fit in…but…

1: receiver has squared off lower frame…and…
2: trigger guard is too thick, for retention clips.

Other problems, still remain.

Moral of the story…Buy the blaster the kit was made to fit…!!
B709 time…again… ill go for a spare mag/battery while im at it.

Wont be a stellar performer, but it’ll be a go-er…

Finally, the grips.
The ebay kit has some 3d printed grips in its kit, its not too expensive.
I’ll grab one of those kits, if he can throw in an extra pair of grips.

These should be painted, trimmed to fit, and made to work , with one mag extender or another.
The ebay kit comes with a 3d printed mag kit as well.

Those grips look spot on, just need a decent coat of paint…

This thread may take awhile…B709’s and delivery and all that…
But its a start…!

Overall, the quality of the kit is pretty good.
Nice and solid, only very faint 3d print lines viewable.

A good coat of matte black, should help…

that’s no good dude, are you going to be able to retrofit it to suit or will it be a lot of effort and headaches?

I suspected that the kit was built, for that blaster only.

I got the kit in first, to check and suss it out, if i could get away with an existing blaster.

Easiest thing to do, is grab a MIF M92, from M416.
They are not too expensive, and i see what the latest gen elec blowbacks are like…

Does the DB Beretta barrel fit the Nwell?

What am I thinking? I’m sure you’ve already checked the mix and match possibilty already.

This is going to be an epic build when you get it sorted. :+1: I mean, what a beast…

I actually haven’t yet…
One thing at a time…

water leaks down the coast are back…!!
Suspect its a cracked housing…gotta deal with that again…

On my B709 for the ebay kit,
On the description page,
After all the usual collector reasons blurb, i added one final note…

“THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.”

I hope they have a sense of humour…

unrelated comment, (sorry)
did you place your order for the Sten MKII yet?

Nope.
Still awaiting B709.
They take around 3 weeks…

I thought the Auto 9 was a complete plastic model kit from Traywick. What are you stuffing in to it a MILF or something

HaHa…

Two kits…

1: kit from m416 gelblasters. 3D printed, designed to fit onto a MLF M92. No grips, but never advertised them…cheap kit.

Designed to go onto a MLF M92. 11.1v Elec, elec blow back. Not a stellar performer, but not too expensive…

2: Traywick kit. All plastic. It DOES have printed grips, which should fit. Gimme two grips, thanks…!!

isn’t that the link I posted in the other thread? my bad, must’ve led you astray

rookie mistake on my end, sorry man

No… i had already figured out, it was 2 seperate kits.

I ordered the gel kit, by itself, in the hopes it would fit onto a beretta i already had.
It didn’t…
Worth a try.

I normally dont like elecblow back pistols, but in this case, the kit is custom made to fit it…

That MLF Beretta does looks awfully similar to your Nwell…

But obviously there are subtle differences if the kit doesn’t fit. :man_shrugging:

I can try the barrel swap, it may work.
The Nwell has the rear sight cast into the slide, and can’t be removed.

The gel kit looks like it slides into the slot of the rear sight, after it’s removed, and screws on.
MLF blaster must have it removeable.
Then , there is getting the mag extender to fit.

Fits over MLF mag, but won’t go onto Nwell mag…

Several subtle, but significant differences…

Which is why they made the kit, to fit one model…

Quick question, BME…

Do you need a B709 to bring in a gearbox? :man_shrugging:

I don’t think so…
However that is, starting to delve into the confiscatable, at discretion, areas…

All you can do, is roll the dice…

I’m trying to bring in one engraved upper RE slide…
See how I go with that…

Good question. I seem to remember some people had success while others did not.
