Is it okay to change the battery connector of a double bell M4A1 from mini tamiya to JST SM?( there are no batteries with mini tamiya available in my country)
The connectors can be found online pretty cheap, and whilst the SM plugs can’t carry as much current as the Mini Tamiya, it will still operate satisfactory as long as the blaster isn’t highly modified 
If you are going to change, I recommend deans, or “t-plugs”. They can be had cheap from AliExpress or similar in bulk.
Fair point that @RokSolid made that it’s better to change the plug on the batteries rather than downgrade to a JST plug on your blaster 
I swapped all of my blasters and batteries to Deans connectors so that everything was compatible with each other.
Just be careful with cutting and soldering new battery plugs.
Only cut/strip/solder one wire at a time to the battery plug to avoid short circuits
