Cylinders teeth how many? 14,13.5,15

I like some advice with my gen 8 m4a1 im building and wanted to know about what advantages does it have to have less teeth or more on my piston ladder please can some explain how it works i have alittle idea but need more info

You need to stay with the amount of teeth the standard Gen8 piston runs.

If you get a piston with more tooth count than the original, it can wind the piston too far back and lock up the gearbox :frowning:

Short stroking/removing teeth is more of a science in regards to the build parts within the whole gearbox.

It’s not required for general use blasters, only if there’s issues found with PME in extremely high ROF builds.
