Da Oozie Nine Milleemeda... ( IWI Uzi Gel blaster review...)

Pity they don’t have the shorter version.

I’d be all over that like white on rice.

im sure it could be trimmed down…

Also…
UH-Oh…

This’ll crank @DocBob from out bush, out west…
and get @Deadsquid squirting all the way, from Vic…!!

ZB 37 with a tripod…!!

Now, where’s that M-60…??!

My argument/question to that would be how are they sold wholesale, is 1 unit the blaster, stick and drum or do they buy the drum separate to begin with cause if 1 unit bought is drum included than is there not a legal issue there?
It’d be like buying a car but the wheels are extra even though they come out of the factory with them.

i hear what you’re saying…

but its probably legal-ish…

Legal…? maybe
Ethical… No.

No one would launch a legal case, over a $200 blaster…and they know it.
Hence, never tested, never known… at the end of the the judge decides, and provides a precedent ruling…

As always, vote with your feet, and your wallet…

Maybe they’re taking on some of TT’s dodgy practices, worked out so well for them…

If the weapon’s been deactivated in compliance with regulations and has an accompanying certificate from an approved and licenced armourer then it should be legal to own in those states that allow replicas for people with a collectors permit.

Probably not Vic though… appearance laws and Nanny State politics and such.

i suppose it will come down to the “level of deactivation”.

I have a collectors license, from years ago, when i started my PR journey, and thought i needed one…

Cant hurt to send an email, forward it to weapons licensing, and see what they say…

The problem is, you can have all your permits, all your ducks in a row, get an item…

…then it lands in sydney…

Recent events don’t help, either…

Also… considering giving the uzi a flash of paint, to get rid of the nylon look.

Go for the Dmyark flat black / semi gloss clear… same as the pulsie recently.

Try to give it that popping metal look.

Also…after a sling swivel Pin.

Xforce may/ may not have them…do Ozgel at morayfield carry them.?

Arnie doesnt use a sling … why do you need one??

fill up the gaping hole, in the LHS…

It would look neater, with a swivel post there…

Paint done.

A coat of Dymark flat black, and some TS-79 semi gloss to seal it.

Hard to see under the inside lighting, but it does remove the nylon-ish look from it.

Now, lets see about that swivel…

Well.
The Sling swivel fits…

It plugs the hole, adds a bit of contrast and looks better.

It also fits into the groove properly.

I’m just wondering, is there any goopy liquid i could run down through the sling hole, to tighten the sling attach point up.?

Have it still be moveable…just with resistance, so it doesn’t flap around.

Thoughts.?

Would look better with one of these sling mounts…

Pick them up on ebay. :+1:

Note to future self…

Get a disposable latex kitchen / food glove.
Cut off a small sliver.
Pack it into the opening, with a tiny flat screw driver.

This packs the swivel, tightens it up, and stops it flapping around…

@BME - do you think this is what the leftside hole is actually for? I have a couple of these which might suit my Uzi’s when they arrive. They come on the Hanke M97 shotguns too.

Yup…quite sure.

I’ve seen uzis with slings…

On my capgun model, it has a fixed sling slot attached to the frame…zoom in…

Also, the groove is the right size to have a swivel……swivel.

Painting it helps to get rid of the nylon-ish look.

50 shades of ……

:rofl::rofl::wink::persevere:

I reckon it makes it look better too…
Finishes it off.

Give it an earring, to go to the ackerdacker concert…!!

I think it looks better, than a gaping hole.

Just stuff it with some glove rubber to stop it flapping…

With mine adjusted now…it does not move AT ALL.

It doesn’t rotate L/R…. Or flap out laterally.

Nothing else to do with a gaping hole than to fill it…

Get your mind out of the gutter @Maiphut

:joy::rofl:

You asked for it. Here you go buddy :joy: :v:

The mind boggles as to why you’d have a ready supply of latex gloves at hand. :joy:
