For the Luger enthusiasts

Just blaster bits.??
No b709 reqd.?

It took me about 2 weeks+, to get stuff from M416…a bit slow sending initially, maybe they had to grab from local suppliers first…

I might roll the dice with the luger grips…if not for the Hanke…then maybe the AW…

Yeah, just parts… no B709a required.

A MOSFET and torch attachment for an SKD M90Two.

Still, super slow delivery… took weeks to clear China.

I’m more into the Luger as a collector item, not for CQB or anything like that. For me they (Denix and Hanke) are not fine/accurate/detailed enough, which is why I want the WE Tech.

The Hanke dimensions are not correct and the Denix too crude. I also like the green gas mags of the WE Tech to the CO2 mags of the Umarex. Yes I know the green gas mags have been known to leak occasionally, but I don’t care.

Yes I know the AW custom SW version can be stripped down, but I want the historical version (I’m boring), not the modern fantasy versions.

If you get a AW version, you could import a shorter upper slide from sixmm.

Put on the wood grips, and its way more authentic.
Bearing in mind, the AW version here locally is just a “clicker”
It toggle dry fires, and thats it. No gel firing.

That is because of a few reasons…

1- the original airsoft has a tiny mag, to fit into the small handle. It couldn’t even hold 6mm bb’s…they had to use 4.5mm bb’s.

2- even with all that, the a/soft Luger was a bit of a dud. Very small gas capacity within the mag, lower inconsistent perfomance, even with 4.5mm bb’s.

So, pretty much zero chance of converting ANY a/soft luger, into gel.
Tiny mag, cant hold 7mm gels, and tiny gas supply.

Getting an AW clicker, Hanke, or Denix are our options here…
No one has brought in a WE tech version…nor can i see anyone doing so.

Or, get a cat H, and grab a real steel version…

Hanke is the cheapest…

I had read that the wetech is the best in airsoft lugers; and is a massive dud, barely working in airsoft form with terrible performance and reliability but at least you can get parts.

Also as mentioned by @BME is not suitable for a gel conversion, and even if it did work any would be piled up in dead stock piles at stores for not working as people think they should.

Good luck with that mr money bags, as you will need all the bags. I was fortunate enough to fire one in my club days.

:joy:  :+1:

Lol, from this day forth @BME you shall be known as Mr Money Bags :moneybag::moneybag:

:joy::joy:

Hmmm…
Nope, they aint cheap…!!

Or there’s this luger that’s in stock

Just add to cart, done  :+1:

What, they only have one.??!
Dang, I was hoping for a matched set…

You can call me “Mr Empty Bags”…

But I really shouldn’t be bragging.

There’s a good reason I’m always on the lookout for $40 gel blasters… just call it my need to eat.:rofl:

It’s all subjective.
I know people, WAY wealthier than me…

Own huge properties, private aircraft etc.
If people work hard, apply themselves, take risks and make sacrifices…they deserve their success…

I went through a large portion of my life, not having much…

All good mate just a gentle dig in jest with a hint of envy.

You have quite a nice collection of toys is all I’m trying to say

I’m at that point ATM where I find myself at a crossroads where needing to upskill myself and gain better employment to better myself and be in the position to do so myself is well overdue.

Time, money and motivation is key for me at this point, which is where I’m lacking atm

Easing up on gel related products would also go a long way but everyone’s gotta have their vices though I guess.

Also my past was very much the same in regards to not having much also. Now I’m working hard I do like to have some nice things to enjoy for the effort made, even when they pay not much more than chump change in the public sector my industry, (council, government etc), which is the call for change.

I work an extremely dangerous job and we definitely don’t get paid enough given the nature of our work, despite the general publics opinion of us. It has proven to be fatal on many occasions.

But I’m rattling on now, my hat goes off to you sir

No argument here but I really wish it worked that way in reality.

I know plenty of people who’ve done all that and they’re still struggling. They deserve better than what they’ve received from the universe but circumstances dictate otherwise.

But you’re right about it being relative… am I wealthy? Nope… but I’m better off than the people living in tents in the reserve a few clicks up the road. All relative :man_shrugging:

The best investment, you can make is in yourself.
Anything, that gives you a piece of paper , which enables you to earn more than the next guy…is a good thing.

I’m trying to impress that upon my niece and nephew, at the moment.
If you have the opportunity to better yourself for job / promotional opportunities, grab it with both hands.

I took leave from work, went back to uni for several years, and studied dentistry a while back.
Very hard yakka, but worth it.

The world of buisness is a funny one…you can do everything right, and external forces can smash you. Or fate can smile on you, you hit a winner idea, and get a smashing success , due to a large part in luck.

Only one certainty…you miss 100% of the swings you don’t take.
Keep at it.!

I was going to say, luck plays a huge part in success.

Some believe you make your own luck… but in my experience it’s usually successful people who say that.

Look at zuckerburg…

Loner loser at high school…dreams up facebook to try to meet chicks…Boom…Billionaire…

Its the risk takers who tend to get ahead…they view failure as an essential part of the pathway to success…failures dont stop em…get up and try again.

Its the risk/reward profile…you have to take a few risks.

Many people are fearful of failure, and just don’t take any…

Easy man, you got it use it. You haven’t seen a huge property until you’ve seen this… but you might not come back.

At least I make a dent on google maps   All mine :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

a picture of a man with a knife and the words when i try to be cool on the bottom

Exactly found myself in that crossroad you speak of. 13 years in the Automotive industry that was about to shut down.

What do I do. Bought a farm, thought about it, but I know fuck nothing about farming. Fuck it before I get too old I’m going in and learning from the older fellers that bend over backwards to help you and glad to see a young fella in the area as it’s very rare.

I grizzle alot but I love the job, argue with myself as I’m the only one that has fkd up, but yet from my trade I can fix everything.

I can work sundays and have tuesdays off so nerr nerr

I walk out my back door and I am at work.

Hang on replied to wrong person was meant for BME not Shadow. Never mind, fitting in with the farmers are dumb thing
