I think the reason why this forum’s so easy going and drama free is because of the efforts of the moderators. Good on ya @DocBob… very much appreciated. Who are the other mods, btw? 
If it’s like most other public forums, the stuff going on in the background that can cause dramas is usually nipped in the bud before it can eventuate and we don’t see a lot of it.
Which creates the warm fuzzy nurturing utopian free lovin’ gel blaster social community we’re all enjoying right now.

Jazzy been away for a while dealing with the world outside of Gelblasters, the General comes and goes, AFX is keeping this place up and running… and I’m just bumbling through learning as I go!
Hence why another Mod would be handy to keep an eye on things if I’m back in hospital or other mods miss something due to hectic schedules outside of the Forum.
Mods have a shield next to their name so they are easy to distinguish.

Sorry everyone. I haven’t really been as active lately due to other commitments.
I try to check in at least once a day, take a look through, make sure there’s nothing that needs to be dealt with.
I haven’t had to get rid of any spam accounts lately…. I hope that doesn’t pick up again😂

Just in case it goes down again, do we have a backup? Like a discord or something?
Have direct contact with the site owner now, so any disruptions are able to be reported straight away if the automated system fails.
The last update should alleviate the data problems the site was having in the past, so shouldn’t be many more dramas moving forward
Don’t have a stupid amount of time but I can help out depending on how many hours of time you need to get the job done properly

Just worked out that I’m now celebrating my 12th year of not even owning or watching a television, my 4th year of no Spacebook or any other social media platforms, my 5th year since I heard a Radio station, and about 39 years of celebrating not giving a fcuk about anyone’s opinions

Yes the forum outage gave me some disconnect feelings.
I have only tuned my tv in once in nearly 10 years and it was only for my mum when she housesat for us while we were overseas. I’m in a vehicle alot for work but don’t listen to radio. Facebook is only to keep in touch with friends and family, follow some gel ball stuff but that’s it.
I’m follow the discords and Reddit but both places are heavily dominated by opinionated know-it-alls. (See dunning Kruger effect lol) Typically all recommendations are for the most expensive things that may not work for that person.

My life is pretty much a carbon copy, except for the spending time driving and being able to enjoy building Gelblasters!
Can’t do much anymore due to the health issues, but is the reason I got the old Nissan Patrol, to give me something to tinker with and have motivation to get out of bed each day
Email is a great idea and will definitely shoot you mine for sure, as the site email system also went down in the outage, which didn’t help in letting people know what was happening

Ah technology is great but it’s lifespan is short is what gives me the shits. When electronics get around that 10 year age they start fucking out, conveniently when parts are no longer made or redundant due to evolvement of technology. Why I stay with old machinery, as long as parts can be made or machined then you’re in business.
Imagine trying to fix a tractor that was run by a 386 with 4MB of ram, cost you a mint in unnobtanium retro parts that will shit themselves because they are old.
I do hammers, spanners, welders and grinders. They haven’t evolved much and fix everything one way or another
