I didn’t even get a minute in and spat my beer out, 50 shades of tan. I backfired, blip the throttle and grab another gear
![]()
I spat my beer out too when I saw that ported cylinder in there the wrong way around. ![]()
I’m the same though… I quite like the different mix of tans too… if it’s good enough for FN Herstal it’s good enough for me. ![]()
Should see the new FN coming out, it’s got 53 shades of Tan. ![]()
and because I like Jenna Ortega this one’s for you @BME

Before I forget the recent vid, impossible to know everything. I’ve been saying that for decades so I come up with fuck knows ![]()
You can share what you know, which is stuff, but far out to know every single thing is impossible. There is things called trades and backgrounds you’ve worked in.
The day you stop learning you might as well die
![]()
So true! Any day you don’t learn something is a bad day!
Absolutely! ![]()
I always reckon part of knowing a bit of stuff is knowing that there’s always a shit-ton of stuff that you don’t know.
Be a bloody boring life if you knew everything anyway. ![]()
I was talking to a legit 99yo retired farmer earlier this year, 5 decades pre dating WW1 got his son and grandson running it atm that are older than me. I shook my head. When that 99yo says never ever seen it this bad you know whats up.
But I always tell myself this
If you just sit in bed and do fuck all or hand outs, guess what, nothing happens. Just give things a try, yes I fk things up but that is how you learn. Ok note to self don’t do that again when a wheel falls off the cultivator.
I’m good at wrecking things just ask me ![]()
Thank @BME for letting me review his HK M110A1 before giving it an upgrade (still doing the upgrade!)
Enjoy…
I have quite a lot of work this weekend… with some new blasters!
Will hopefully get a post about that soon enough!
Looks good…!
I’ll publicly mention… I didn’t pay $900 for mine…
I got it on sale for around $760.
Still exxy, but a bit more affordable…
Can’t wait to see what it looks like, post surgery.!
Might have to limit the fps, for the first 1000kms…
Break in period…!!

Also, I used some tamiya smoke on the mag.
Darkened the transparency a bit, so it’s not quite so see through…
The greens look funky.!
I had a feeling that M110 was yours, Beemer. ![]()
Looks like a bit of a ripper. Be interesting to see how it turns out post modding. ![]()
I just picked up the G28 for $725 from Vipertac
. Wasn’t planning to buy a DMR but at that price I couldn’t resist. Keen to see what she looks like inside. I’m hoping I don’t have to break mine open straight away as I’ve got a full rebuild on my M4 and G36c to do first!
I did not mention anything or I get told off again… I know who’s that is methinks. ![]()
Hilarious video I watched last night. I backfired again I’m going to have buy more beer at this rate @RokSolid
![]()
Okay, so I had time to upload a short video for this arvo so there is something for you all…
The intention was to combine it with another smaller job/video to keep the normal episode length up… but I have not got the time to get it done… and… I need the hard drive space for new product videos!
Anyway… the last week… SUCKED ARSE for me.
Normal work had to be done, with a trip to Gold Coast every day for supply rather than Sunshine Coast yard due to people on holidays… so add 4+ hours to my normal 10 hour work day… YAY!
Add to that… a mountain of work for AKgelblasterAU to get blasters ready for sale, and orders packed and shipped… Thanks to my awesome wife for getting orders to the post office while I was stuck working late every day!
Since Friday, I have worked every minute of every waking hour… with an average of 4hr 32mins of sleep per night according to my watches health app thingy… I did get 6hours last night, which helps it look better! LOL!
Anyway…
Picture this if you will… two rooms, neither is big, both with nothing but assorted boxes all over the floor and no room to move and no real sorting system at all…
It was like when you first move into a house and everything is in a box somewhere under 10 other boxes… and every time you need something everything else moves so you can’t find it either… arrghh! Been driving me mental!
No time to make it better, just do the work and deal with it…
FUCK THAT!
Bit the bullet, spent 8 hours on repairing the absolute hell this area has been!
EVERYTHING moved out of the intended “storage” room and cleaned it out…
Installed shelving so now the area is more than just a floor to put shit on!
Got most of it all in one room, that is usable and workable, and I can find things instantly and they wont need to be moved to get to other things! Hooray!
The by-product is now my other room that is destined to be the official work area is empty, ready to start taking shape as the new bench of Gel Ball Nobody!
I really didn’t have time for any of this… but I couldn’t continue the way it was! It has turned a very busy week into a very frustrating busy week!
Not sure when I will get the time to build the new “office” and move in but I am excited to get that ball rolling… once done and moved in, I can do far more tech work more often, and videos will be easier to make without disrupting the rest of the family… or without the family disrupting the videos… however you look at it!
It will also double as a bit of a store for AKgelblasterAU, so I am keen to get it underway!
It will cost money, and time, both of which I can’t afford to do… and at the same time I can’t afford to NOT do it ASAP. So many aspects of running this have been needlessly inefficient for too long now, and it has taken a stupidly busy week for it all to come to head, and action to be taken!
Looking forward to it, and hoping it all improves the service, products, and content!
And the truly sad part of this… it will be like my ideal gel blaster man cave!
Day two of cracking the shits and fixing my work and storage area…
Those paying attention in my videos may have heard the snippet of I am getting a new work bench soon… it came today… no you understand the panic sorting of storage yesterday!
Built last shelving in the storage area, organised and sorted everything into there.
And all the new workbench, shelves, and cabinet came today! It was VERY exciting for me!
And then I spent 9 hours getting it together!
Workshop built and ready to “move in”.
Also left an area to pack orders, as a fun fact many of your orders were packed on the same bench I do my work on, no way that would negatively impact either process right? (Fuck oath it has!)
Just one thing left…
Need to build the cabinet to store my tools parts and various equipment, then the workbench you all know is going to be obsolete and returned to being a bar in the lounge room.
3d printers, all work tools parts and equipment, need to move in the new workshop! Gonna be one last push tomorrow morning to get it up and running, and then it’s back to getting orders packed and new blasters ready…with normal job on Monday staring me down the whole day!
And best of all, the wife won’t be annoyed at me while I am working and carrying on in the lounge room, and I’ll be much more efficient and effective in all aspects of the work I do! Yay.
Just one more push through, and I do hope it has positive effects on me, my work, and content… I am never going back to how it was last week- always improve whatever you can in work and life… and yourself!
Nice work mate, its a great feeling to get the work area sorted the way you want it.
Pics or it didn’t happen!
So good you’re getting organised in a way that’s going to give you real benefits and make your work/life balance a little easier, matey.
Sounds like a whole lotta work for a whole lotta gain. ![]()
You’re gonna need a holiday after this. ![]()
It has been a point of frustration and time wasted for quite some time, I never expected I would need to do this and have just been working around it all this time.
A TON of work lol! But as you say, hopefully a lot of productivity gains.
And the real life benefit of, I can close the door and relax, where previously I am relaxing in my lounge room right in front of a ton of work staring me in the face from the corner!
The human psyche is interesting like that ![]()
Anyway… I am about to get back to it, I have until lunch to get it all done, then hoping to resume normal blaster work and order packing for a few hours; before winding down for another 45+ hours of my normal work in 4 days again!
I do get a kick out of progress and getting work completed so it is all good.
Dont burn yourself out, Rok…
It sounds like this is a busy burst…but not sustainable long term…
Pace yourself, and dont take Too Much on, all at once…!
Well said, sometimes we need a reminder
