That is rough, People don’t realize until its too late that they should have kept in touch more, asked this, talked about that with their parents. It will hurt them later in life if they don’t make peace as they will always wonder what if. Very sad. I feel for him.

Well I guess a Politician would have to be involved. This whole saga stinks of a Politicians stinky involvement. Also has to be some one high in defence who has been butt hurt and seeking a scapegoat for defence failings maybe? Plus weak politicians and state services types who want a job with the U.N after they are out of office and want to show the U.N how Fair and Just and how much of a crusader they are for justice for sneaky talips and the like at the detriment of their own countrymen.
The mainstream media I can not stand. So many times I have seen them twist the news to fit the agenda their financiers are pushing. There is an agenda behind all of this. Its just a part of the attack on Western values and way of life, your heros are not meant to be the traditional heros any more but should instead be the likes of Grace Tames, Brittany Higgins and our ole mate Greta NoFunberg. The media have a lot to answer for in pushing fear and mis information on the public, the ABC, 7, 9 being the ones I’ve seen the most but I’m sure others do it too.

Yes why he’s stuck local to me, I tried contacting his kids my cousins myself. No responce. Sad for him but I pick his day up as I am very proud of him, told that to his face. Always have been and always will be. There’s not alot of people that can hang the medals he has on their chest, they gonna need a big chest. But he is calm, cool, collected, don’t do things irrationally, but when it’s called for. Had a whole bay with SLR, M16, 12G, M79, used to line the belt feed trays for the twin MAG58’s with alfoil so they don’t misfeed firing over 1100rpm each.
We were talking one day about the Chinooks. He said yeah rattly effin things but do the job, in Nam he was right there when the yanks did an air drop and the link something for the blades broke and it did a backflip right in front of them. They immediately upgraded that part. He showed me the photo. Wow.
Another Commander of Cavalry as you sit up top in the cupola, he knows him just passed recently, in nam a big burst of MG fire hit him right through the neck one round, he survived until recently but disabled as hit the spine cord. My Uncle was on board treating and getting help instantly as in the same convoy.
I could go on for ages, but I’m glad he’s shared the bits with me his kids will never ever know. Don’t seem to want to know or even wish him happy birthday. My hero

A wellpro M4 cqb skeletonised thingy.
Nice externals, wellpro gearbox came with all the standard wells shitness, but had 7mm bushes and a ETU. ETU naturally was fucked, and this is for a mate that’s a bit on the simple side when it comes to electronic shit.
So ditch the ETU, bang in a switch and cutoff lever, able to use the stock wiring no problem at least… See how it goes! Budget reliability build with minimal cost. Only a piston, piston head, remove the delay chip, shimming and 3 teeth of short stroking, minimal parts. See how it goes soon!
Hopefully with radius and a super light piston and piston head, and a spacer between the box and barrel this thing will last him a long time with no issues.

Took a day off I’m lieu yesterday and caught up on some blaster work and doctors appointments.
Made really good progress on the blaster but I have neglected the videos, so I might have a short one rather than the planned full episode this week, there will be something at least either way!
Putting all my efforts into catching up just led to taking more on and needing to catch up again lol.

Will be up at 4pm this arvo. It is mine, and the sentimental value of this blaster to me is unrivalled. And it still gets use some 8+ years later. One of my all time favourites.
sometimes it is nice to treat myself to my own products and services lol.
I am working on a video of a customers builds- 5 blasters! But man there is a lot of footage, lost footage (FFS! ) and making it work is taking me a while. Shmeh.
The plan of those 2 videos starting this week aint happening.
So now my beloved gen8 UMP45 refresh and update this week, and hopefully I can get the customers videos ready and going as of next week.
Still have quite a few things to make videos on yet, and some might be my own stuff for a change! Yew!

Three of my faves are Gen 8 powered… Love 'em and on 7.4v easy enough to work the trigger for semi-auto.
Jin Ming got it right with those boxes back in the day and they’re still great little units.

I was quite sick and short on sleep, having a cold and a broken rib sucked hard. Editing out the sick noises and complaining after coughing was quite fun.
But the video and blaster was like going back to the beginning, where it was new and exciting. Yeah, all these years later the hobby still finds a way to dig a claw in now and then.
