I don’t know if it’s an algorithm thing or not, not something I’m concerned with really.
Originally my thoughts were most people have the weekend off and might like to watch it over the weekend, never really though more into it than that!
I have considered just dumping videos out once I’m done but that puts it in danger of me not bothering and ending up with a bunch of half finished videos and loads of footage taking up space on my computer, so the self imposed deadline is a good way to ensure I get it done and free up space.
I enjoy making them, and it’s nice to see a group of regular viewers watching my antics.
The main reason for moving from Friday is so I can use Friday to focus on doing the work not having a distraction of “oh I haven’t uploaded that or done a thumbnail” or something like that.
I usually have the videos done a few days and sometimes weeks ahead. But sometimes I am playing catch up too. I also try to have a backup plan video for the weeks I don’t have anything ready, ideally I have a couple weeks waiting and scheduled but the work and the time to edit videos doesn’t always line up that way!

I just got done watching the box full of Cymas and the MP5. Hilarious as always 
It’s fuck all Friday after a week of chops and changes in business so was looking for something to watch to unwind. I chose the expletive option of course. Because why not, something to look forward to if your week was crap and have a laugh.
I’m only one, sometimes I work all weekends and get a random day off (YAY) bookwork during the week. But when I miss a few and get some downtime they are there to catchup on. 
I’ve noticed some other channels I watch for bikes and cars have preloaded to release weekly around the middle of the week and keep their content ahead of themselves. They seem to avoid weekend releases as everyone is usually out and about enjoying their weekend if they work Mon-Fri regular. Sometimes they’ve done it months ahead. Some of the more popular ones every second day but they have near full film crews. Fk that.
I even did a couple of my own last bike ride just to show a few people. Don’t think I’ll be going mainstream anytime soon though. More riding required first
Whatever you feel comfortable with would be my go. Must admit does build the excitement up just a bit. What’s on the box tonight, it’s fukall Friday there must be a new NoBody to watch.

That was my original thinking of the Friday arvo release!
I am thinking just bumping it back to Thursday, I don’t get much time to do tech work Monday-Thursday, but I do get a little time for editing uploading etc.
And yes, many of my videos are scheduled, I think only one in most of the channels history was uploaded and released immediately, the rest were all uploaded hours, days, or a week or two prior.
I like to have a back up plan video uploaded with no release schedule in case I don’t get time to go with a planned video, but rarely have I had this!
There is a surprising amount of time sunk into getting these videos together, and while I am far more efficient now than I was a year ago, there is often a couple of hours of footage to trim down to a palatable episode size!
And yeah… the memes and funny nonsense are there purely as boredom strikes me whilst editing and any way I can make it more entertaining bangs my style home more!
This arvo’s video is a doosie! I have secured a steady supply of LDX clones, so with the first one arriving I had to test it out.
These are a 3.0 upper section clone with the 4 prong bearing spring retainer, but the lower is sort of a mish-mash between the 2.5 and 3.0; having no external wiring channel like the 3.0 which was kinda tight on wiring and risky for sliding the grip on so I was happy to leave it, but it does have the 9mm bearings and all the posts for mosfet/ETU or traditional trigger block setups.
Happy enough that I have ordered some primarily to have on hand for customer builds, but if you want one I am just a message or call away.
I also wanted to test out the Lei Ying Brushless motors, speed trigger and the LDT tappetless, so as always in my own stuff there is a few experiments going on!
Lei Ying, is basically a rebranded T238 brushless, so far I am happy with them, but will see how they hold up over time.
The Speed trigger works well, so ordered some more milspec looking ones too, and the tappetless, well I didn’t really get to test them out for myself with the first batch as they all sold, though I have tested them in customer builds- not my preferred method of testing but it is just how it happened. They “top out” around 35ish rps, and in full auto will start to drop a touch of seal and lose a little fps.
Given this build is 37rps, the effect is there but barely noticeable. I will be changing it to a tappet plate setup and pushing the build faster sometime soon when I get back on top of my customers work again.
Quite a build, and I am quite happy with it! And hope you all enjoy watching me struggle

This week’s video if I can finish it in time for this week is huge… Literal movie length!
It is the most requested, and follows up what has become annoyingly my most popular video.
The Draco upgrade… Sigh.
I’d been hesitant to bother, as while the Draco review video is my most watched and viewed, the percentage of watch time per view is pretty low. I suspect. . Much like the attention span of most Draco owners.
But, the video is so I can just reply to all the questions I get with a link rather than an explanation followed by dumbing down the explanation and so on.
I suspect that by the 5 minute mark most Draco owners will have run out of attention span or give up, but if it helps just one person I’ll be happy.
The goal is to scare off those lacking the tenacity to pursue it as much as to help those that do posses the determination to learn and desire to achieve it.
And if course, it’s loaded with various nuggets of knowledge and amusement asking the way.
It’s been a huge non profitable undertaking to satisfy the requests of a market I have nothing to do with, so I hope it keeps the questions and requests at bay so I can move on and just say “go watch this and good luck!”

A good way to keep engaging more viewers on a long video is to add time stamps for each section of the topics covered.
I watch 4-5 hour long RC Aircraft build and flight videos, but am able to skip sections irrelevant to my needs and just sit through the rest.
If not for the time stamps, I wouldn’t even bother clicking on the video, as nobody has that much time to scroll through uploads looking for the information they are looking for!
Good tip doc. Current run time after initial edit is 93 minutes! But I have to watch it start to finish and remove and tweak any times I mention something twice or if something doesn’t quite make sense or help the story line etc.
I also use this stage to add some silly bits and helpful text.
Might be a good stage to take notes for time stamps, your tip has come at the right time it seems!
I try to improve something or some part of the process each time, or at least learn something.

It has been a while since I wanted to throw a blaster in a bonfire and dance naked around it but this one was close!
Yes it was a headache, the nylon SiJun gearbox I would relate to the HL gearbox (HL ARP9 and Honey Badger) in terms of quality… low!
Stock gears just would not play nice with the optical sensor on the mosfet… eventually ditching the gears for some new ones made it work, but quite an expense spiral was needed just to get mag prime again!
I could have trimmed the blowback nub enough to still contact the mag prime switch but not have blowback, but it would be so thin and flimsy, and still potentially contact the piston; I can’t recommend it.
Good results but man it took some working out to get it there!
Externally these aren’t bad, internally though the gearbox and mounting the entire barrel to it is a poor design choice for those looking to tinker. Disassembling the entire barrel and front end being needed to remove the upper receiver and gearbox is like slavery with extra steps.
I don’t think I have a video on doing this operation as I initially expected it would be a simple bang in a ETU job… but I think I do have a conclusion/post surgery video.
We had hoped to use a brushless motor, but in Sijun form, the base plate has no adjustment and the brushless wouldn’t fit without grinding the base plate… at which point there is no going back and the brushless motor is then not able to be held solidly in place without further measures. So while definitely plausible, it would have been a operation all its own.
It is good for me to get these sort of builds, because I know now the effort required and can hopefully scare off future prospective Sijun MP5k owners before it even makes it to me
Sounds like the CYMA MP5K is a better option then… 
Parent company’s got a more solid reputation in the gel arena too, IMHO.

CYMA only have the vanilla MP5 though I think… but yes CYMA definitely do things far better!
Cyma makes the full size MP5…and they are quite good…just feel a little “plasticky”.
But good performers…300 fps with just a spring change, reliability and parts available.
JM make the MP5-k…
They can end up pretty good , and good value for the price point.
Just check those factory gearboxes… i remember your gear not being mounted properly… and cream of sumyungai…!!
The Sijuns have very nice externals…but a bit of a sub par gearbox.
But, that was not to be known, until they were pulled apart.
Cheaper SD model, with a good lazy upgrade , and metal mags…

Hard to go past the pricepoint / performance curve.

It was the JM MP5K i was referring to in the above post… flu head doing it’s thing. Haven’t handled a CYMA MP5.
Not a bad little SMG at all once it’s checked over. Mine was missing the bronze bush on the sector gear shaft straight out of the factory, flopped around like s cock in a shirtsleeve, so not the greatest QA on JM’s part.
New sector gear and everything’s sweet.
