Mate not far off some ads I’ve seen in my time!
About to go watch this now, and I can’t wait!
Great timing to crack a beer on a Friday night and get some laughs.
Oh this is going to be good. Been waiting for this. Hope it has some BME socks in it

The Scar I’m still laughing biggest POS IRL and fake ever
Gate… stick it up the date
No BME socks, but a pretty gnarly set of feet in there.
i dont have any items for sale at ludicrous prices…
wait a minute…check above…
i’m selling it too cheap…!!
There’s a reason why I undertook a wholesale giveaway… The secondhand market sucks balls bigtime… for anything.
If I ever do decide to give this hobby away and indulge more gratifying pursuits there’ll be another cashless firesale… anything to avoid the boneheads you’re forced to deal with on Facebook Marketplace, about the only place you can list them these days.
I suppose I could always just give them all to Beemer… but that’d be like dropping an ice cube into the Arctic Ocean… barely noticeable.
FB Marketplace, by the way, has banned me from listing any blasters no matter how carefully worded and illustrated because it “goes against their community standards”
Never mind the dozens of similar listings from other people.
I can agree with that! I have sold a few over the years, and nearly every time was a stuff around! If I ever get out of the hobby it would be a giveaway for the most part also!
Pretty unlikely I am out any time soon though…
But the endless questions, asking for every spec and part, videos… then to find out it is some 10 year old who wants to “pay it off” with his allowance at $5 a week for the next 3 years!
Or worse an adult that agrees, turns up and wants to buy everything else I have, but didn’t even bring enough for the blaster!
There were a few that were good but most made me decide I’d rather the blaster I don’t use than the stuff around.
I always assume the blaster doesn’t work, has been abused and is in need of more repair than it is worth then sum up the “deal” from there. And TBH, I have had some good deals that just required a bit of work and almost no parts!
It’s the same when our Bans came into effect.
Telling everyone that I simply destroyed all the working Blasters I had in my huge collection, and throwing the smashed up parts in the Rubbish Bin for collection, was always met with “you’re mad, why didn’t you just Sell them.”
Yeah right!
The largest State in Australia had 2 weeks to get rid of all of our Blasters… WHERE THE HELL are you going to Sell them and to who?
Obviously everything became instantly worthless because of the massive flooding of the Market, and 2 weeks was nowhere near enough to advertise Interstate to try and find buyers and get shipped across the country.
Who’s going to buy Blasters from WA sight unseen except for a few photos online and pay for expensive Postage when their own States have plenty available right down the road?
Wishing I had kept my most loved Blasters and deactivated them as display pieces, but was running the Business 24/7 at the time, and simply didn’t have the time to think about this when the Bans were introduced in such a short time timeframe to get rid of everything.
Couldn’t imagine having to deal with online advertising and wannabe buyers on top of everything else that was going on… wouldn’t have Sold anything with my short tempered patience for idiots such as you get anyrate!
Another awesome video @RokSolid , I did end up spitting out my beer on more than one occasion!
Everytime I try to get out I get a new batch of repairs dumped on me…
Busted my hump and cleared the workbench a week or so ago, thought that’s it. Havin’ a break.
Now I’ve got another five gas pistols and two AEGs to repair.
All I wanna do is play guitar!
You’d want to seleyll 5them stanky ass thanggs
I know that feeling all too well!
Have a good to do list for my blasters, but so rarely get to them!
End of the day least I am never bored, whatever that is!
I got a few projects for you. Guarantee laughter for days. yep just burn that shit
So the next video was meant to be another review. Instead it is going to be repairing and upgrading a lemon! It happens in gel. Not that often to be fair, and I am glad for the supplier to have sold this to me rather than some Karen. That is a bad day for a retailer!
When the gel blaster gods give you lemons… make it better!
The plan… was to review it, then do a little bit of optimising and cheap-free upgrades. Short stroke, radius, shimming, change a piston and head.
Now the reality… I am in the bastard anyway… It didnt work well and gets about half the advertised fps.
It is a significant upgrade job now. Because why not right? Still trying to keep it to a good value upgrade with good performance and reliability.
Then in time, it will get an ETU, and brushless motor… and actually will likely be a 7v blaster, because of battery compartment limitations.
Looking forward to that content.
You’re right about the industry improving on OOTB faults too.
Remember back in the old forum when the TacToys insider dropped the bomb about the warehouse corner absolutely full to to gills with blasters returned with factory faults straight out of the box?
They ended up being sold in a seperate category as props only, no warranty.
Definitely not so much these days.
Oh yeah… I didn’t work for tacky toys… but the retailer I worked for had a similar thing going on, though to much smaller extent than what they were saying about tactoys.
I’d reckon they all do somehow, blasters QC being what it is!
Where I was we would either be made to repair them using same or better parts, scrap them for spares, or turn them into a upgraded and or customised blaster. They wouldn’t let us sell them as “prop or model”.
I don’t mind, i planned to upgrade and see what could do with it anyway. Just means the video will take longer, be longer, and be a repair upgrade video instead of a review… well will sort of be a review… but not one that I will offer to them for their website!
Now I could have just done a 10 minute modification fix and been done with it, but hell I had the thing half open and warranty proper voided anyway!
So far, I’ve made a custom nozzle… “Frankentorque” motor… both are proprietary so that’s been fun… also changed gears. Piston and head and spring…
I’ll get it running and see how it goes. Due to battery space being very limited efficiency is the main goal of this one.
