Completely off topic, but has anyone (or knows anyone) who has successfully purchased a Gen 3 night vision system in Australia? In particular the PVS-14 scope? There are several retailers that show up when I search, but when you go to their site it turns usually turns out to be only Gen 2+ or “pre-order / out of stock”
The good stuff seems to be held back due to ITAR restrictions, but some of these sites claim to sell them.
Be careful of those Gen2+ selling sites, they are fraudulent. Military items like the Gen3 are just not available to civilians.

Have come across these recently and they have got good reviews. Non US made tubes so no ITAR. Tubes are not as good as the L3Harris but still looks way better than anything else ive seen available to buy.
