Anyone purchased and or have recommendations for these?
I have searched around and am after a KPOS style kit - NOT the Roni, as I don’t like the forward magazine housing setup, plus they’re more exxy than the others.
I see WAT have them going for $150 - this is the model I’m after:
Also Ausgel have a Well brand marked down from $200 to $60 - although very sceptical about Well in general. Plus they won’t be back in stock for at least another 3 months according to owner:
The ausgel one is alright if you want a carbine kit. Fits a 4.3 hicapa straight up but a 5.1 needs a little fettling. Glocks fit well too.
From memory they are unbranded not sure where they got the idea they are wells?
Tbh I don’t see the point of them so don’t know a lot about them. Only know about the ausgel version as a mate has one. I like using pistols as… well… pistols.
If it’s unbranded, it makes it less desirable. I contacted Ausgel - They dug around and had 1 floating around, as just earlier it was listed out of stock. The only issue was they don’t have a shopfront for customers to at least come down and check out - That was kind of a deal breaker as I don’t like buying shit that turns out to be not what I essentially signed up for. Even more, PayPal isn’t accepted through them - and other similar merchants either.
These appear to be the same batch surplus from M4A1 - whom were still advertising them for $150. I asked M4 to price match, but despite being told they could, I felt they weren’t all that keen and just backed out.
Overall the kit from WAT looks more closer spec to KPOS - but overall price wise not incl: sling, fwd grip, shipping etc for something that just adds some appearance but nil extra performance isn’t worth it
