Hi, I am looking for good starting, gas blow back pistol. I am specifically looking for a co2 pistol
Why specifically CO²? That market is considerably smaller and seemingly more prone to faults/issues.
Because if gel blasters go illegal, no one’s gonna notice one person buying some co2 cans

That wouldn’t make them any less legal, plus there’s no sign of them being banned in QLD any time in the near future.
Green Gas gats can be run on standard butane cans with a couple of drops of silicon oil in the mag right?? Do your own research, but i dont think your limited to just “gel blaster green gas”.
Like DChapo says though, we’re pretty set here in QLD so just get one that you like most.
i’d stick with green gas if i were you. it’s easier to find, more reliable and runs fine on butane with a bit of silicone oil for lube
they might become suspicious of you huffing though
I like co2, only as its what I used in airguns over the ditch (the lead pellet firing ones) and was cheap and plentiful back there. There are a few revolvers that use co2 still and some pistols but fewer and fewer it seems lately. Just make sure the internals can handle it as co2 is stored at a higher pressure and can hit pretty hard in summer temps.
I have a propane adaptor and remote line and I’m not sure the fps in my 220mm AAP01 but it sure sounds like it is hitting pretty hard. Propane is pretty easy to source at hardware stores etc and the green gas remote line kits they sell work fine you just need to get an adaptor to attach to the propane cylinder. 1inch 20tpi to 7/16 28tpi adaptor, as the green gas adaptor in the kits is 7/16 and the propane at bunnings is 1 inch x 20 tpi.
Cheers
Opps just realized how old the OP was.
Sorry
