HK SCOMO MK23....(Or, Shhh..! you'll wake the baby..!)

Just replacement…and cost of postage.

Which is cheaper than driving time / fuel , toll bridges and (ahem) potential speeding fines…

Plus, he’s at archerfield, so its quite a hike.

Ask him to send out 2 or 3…

Yeah, I’ll call up AH tomorrow and try to organise a half a dozen. Wouldn’t ever want supply of them to dry up.

We might have to look at your SOCOM mag to see if it’s got the same follower issues. :man_shrugging:

Order’s in with Armoured Heaven for one replacement and six spare mag lips… happy to report Brad honoured the warranty with no issues and was more than happy to replace the broken assembly at no cost.

$9 per set posted… fair deal. :+1:

A coat or two of matt clear over the TM suppressor…

Can’t figure out why it would come out of the factory almost gloss. :man_shrugging: Before…

Does anyone out there, have any busted golden eagle mags.?

I’m after the GE mag followers, to fit into the MK23 mags, for better feeding…

@RokSolid do you have any spares, in your parts pile, you could sell.??
Thanks…

Ah… BINGO! They’re the ones we’re after, alright. :+1:

Cheers @HelterSkelter that’s awesome. :ok_hand:

Just to let you know, @RokSolid

Got a triple set of GE followers today in the mail so no need for you to go to any trouble looking for them.

The offer’s very much appreciated though. Cheers! :+1:

Nice! Hopefully they work well!

Swapping the followers in the Tokyo Marui mags over to Golden Eagle is definitely the way to go. The lock back tab on them needs to be trimmed back about 2mm to allow them to seat properly in the mag lips but that’s easily done with a Stanley knife.

Far easier loading and better feeding down to the last gel. Being double stack, the loose TM follower cocks over on an angle if a gel gets on the wrong side of it and gets hung up on the 3D printed mag lips, stopping short of full travel, leaving one or two gels at the top of the mag… annoying.

if i didnt have 9 thumbs i might look into that

Sorted out the torch on the SOCOM’s LAM unit… TM setup is woefully dim, dimmer than the torch that came with the Kriss Vector… and that’s sayin’ something. :expressionless: Lets the whole thing down.

Pulled it apart, threw away the useless faux laser LEDs, a bit of surgery on the case and rewired for a better reflector cone and main LED. Much better throw and spread of beam.

Decent illumination now and not so intense as to make it a problem with lumen limits in some indoor venues. :+1:
