Introduce Yourself!

Welcome back to the fold, man! Good to have you back. :+1:

Sorry to hear about your rough experiences, but it sounds like they’re behind you now, so good on ya for toughing it all out and coming out the other side.

Yeah, this is a different forum to the old one, for sure… great members, quite a few internationals, same old helpful ethic mixed with just the right amount of sarcastic wit and humour… where it’s appropriate, if course. :joy:

Good times! Enjoy yourself in here, matey. :ok_hand:

Oh, and cudos on the foot inclusion in the top pic too… let the comments and memes begin!

Welcome back, I remember ya

We all have hard times myself included. Just work through them as best you can. I went to war this year for business things and pulled it off amazingly 3 and 4am starts. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Knock off when I fall dead. :joy: Beer O clock  :+1:

A lot of good old forum members here myself included, the shit ones do not survive :joy:

You can thank @DocBob we try and keep things light hearted, few jokes here and there and lots of knowledge to be shared and ongoing projects or new releases. Or @RokSolid has fired up AKGBAU and doing amazing. Check his thread for some really funny youtube stuff, I spat my beer out friday within 1 minute, I think that’s a record I can normally hold on a bit longer than that :joy: :+1:

I’ve been binge watching RokSolids stuff, have remember that I’ve actually got to work and not just watch YouTube vids on blasters :joy:

Hey fellas, just thought I’d say hi after lurking the forum for a few months, am a Queenslander that was stuck down in Victoria for 10 years or so and as soon as was able to move back to here picked up a few blasters!

I’ve been to Nuketown four or five times and have roped my missus into it as well, we used to do the whole medieval/fantasy larp thing down south, and affectionately refer to gel blasting as “gun larp”. Honestly seems like a pretty similar crowd, and has been good stuff. Any recommendations on games to go to, or especially any more ‘larpy’ events would be very welcome - anyway, cheers!

Welcome to the Circus mate and I’m sure you’ll receive a warm welcome from the rest of the Clowns here very soon!

Always great seeing more people getting into the hobby, especially when you can get the whole family involved, it becomes much more fun and enjoyable.

Plenty of experienced and talented people here who can help out in any way you might need and looking forward to a few pics/stories of your adventures.

Hey, welcome to the asylum!

Good to see new people joining up… it’s the variety of members that make this forum so great. :+1:

Welcome home bucket. I know a few ex Qlders who have returned recently, cant blame them. They say things were a bit wonky down there for a while.

if we can keep the sport/hobby expanding we have a charnce to keep the sport alive. We need to be many and we need to be heard. Good for roping your missus in aswell. All the merrier the better.

Have fun with your gelgun.

Hello. My name is not important, call me whatever the hell you want. Wizard is a placeholder name.

Location is Vladivostok, Russia, really want to change it but shit’s expensive. Timezone is same to Australia. Age is 22. Lonely, single, life reached stagnation and it’s ass.

I found out about gel blasters back when mags were used as battery storage, scopes as mags, and the coolest blaster was that graffiti P90. At that time I got something shaped like sniper rifle but killed it with wrong sized gels. Since that time I forgot about gel blasters untill two years ago my parents brought LuJun AKM and Kriss Vector of similar quality as souvenirs from China vacation. Plastic, proprietary, mechanical mags, but I got intrigued. Since that day my collection grown to around 20 blasters and I’m not planning to stop.

I’m mostly a collector, gel blaster games are nonexistent in my region (damn airsoft) and honestly I would be too shy to visit.

In future I want to start a gelsoft related YouTube channel to bring more variety to this part of YouTube and make dropshippers give me free gel blasters ofc.

Here’s a small peek into my collection, later I’ll publish more images in collection topic

Hey man… welcome to the forum!

Twenty blasters definitely gets you out of the absolute noob category. Some nice gear in those pics.

We’ve got quite a few internationals in here, but mostly Aussie… we do love to see what’s available in other countries… even if we can’t import it anymore.

Welcome @Wizard !
Mostly Aussies here that wish we had Airsoft or these days a government that let us import gel blasters, but many of us have been collecting and tinkering for years here.

I have a little YouTube gel channel, it’s fun for me so if you are thinking of doing it give it a try, nothing to lose and all!

Enjoy the hobby and hello from the other side of the earth but the same timezone!

I’ve noticed that this place has lots of people who come from land down under and it’s absolutely fine by me, you guys know alot about gelsoft and would love to learn from THE gelsofters

Speaking of availability, I dunno about other countries but don’t worry about mine, I can confirm Australia has MUCH MORE to offer than local distributors do

Hi there, yes lots of knowledgeable people here. A couple of my best mates come from your country but now here down under most of their life.

Got some great looking blasters there :+1:

It’s great to have you here and thanks for taking the time to introduce yourself.

It’s a shame that we are finding it harder to fully enjoy our hobby through forever changing laws and restrictions, but definitely keeping us busy with the Blasters that we are lucky enough to already own.:+1:

I would be interested to hear how Gelblasters perform in extreme cold conditions, which is something we definitely don’t get to experience here!
