Jin Ming J11 AK47

Now, we just wait with baited breath, to see what can get through customs…

Just gave yourself an answer as to what video to do next! :joy:

Showing people how to service their Blasters would be an excellent idea, explaining what needs looking at and the different requirements to keep everything running smoothly. :ok_hand:

And my pet peeve…SHOW PEOPLE HOW TO KEEP THEIR BARRELS CLEAN!

I was an absolute stickler for this, thanks to growing up as kids shooting real steel with my ex-military Old Man drumming this into us relentlessly!

I would clean my barrels after each use at the end of the day, and even mid games if things were starting to turn to confetti.

That is funny

Just got to put the good sauce in there

G96 treatment. Smells good too  :v:

Colt used it when they had a factory :+1:

Is it just J11 AKs that get sketchy feeding when you get near the bottom of the mag or all AKs?

I get that having that significantly curved mag means gravity’s not your friend if the gels have to kind of move sideways to get to the feed wheel… just seems that in the last dozen or so gels every four or five trigger pulls you get a single dry fire. :person_shrugging:

At least it’s letting you know you’re nearly due for a mag change.

I’ve found the same on pretty much all AK Banana mags as well.
Definitely to do with the shape of the mag internals.

Thought so :+1:

At least no more bent terminal springs… J12 terminal block in now. :ok_hand:

Did they change the terminals from spring to those plates on the stock blasters at some stage? Swear I have a j12 gearbox at home somewhere that came with those non-spring terminals .

Some of the later J11s had these terminals, and definitely all of the J12s.

They’re still not a perfect solution, a bit prone to bending out of contact but a huge improvement on the janky springs. If only they were made of quality spring steel. :person_shrugging:

Even the early J12s have spring terminals. Mine still does, just have to be a little mindful of them when putting the mag in. Seen so many J11 and J12s with munted terminal springs over the years.

Same here, all my early J12’S had spring terminals, and they just loved getting bent outta shape with the rocking mag design, especially the front spring always needing constant “reshaping”.

Okay, my bad… I’ll stand corrected on the J12 mag terminals. :+1:

Might have a go at replacing the terminals on the mag itself with spring loaded brass pins and replacing the blaster terminals with flat plates, kind of like the Jin Ming MP5s.

Being located at the front of the AK mag might be problematic but you know what I say about “no guts, no glory”.
