Lehui Sig 552 gearbox upgrades/parts?

Anyone here who has modified their Lehui Sig 552? Can i replace the ETU/mosfet with any v3 etu/mosfet? Reason being, we have one but the mosfet broke due to using a 11.1v battery.

One for the more technically minded to answer. :man_shrugging:

For what it’s worth, I’ve had several Le Hui MOSFET blasters and play it safe by sticking to 7.4v with them. They do fry regularly with 11.v lipos.

If you replace with an original MOSFET, a quick google search only shows them available overseas at M16gelblaster or Zhenduo.

I have never been in one. From a chat I had with another tech who has worked on them, the plastic triggers are a weak spot, and stock mosfets always are too. From memory the v3 sig trigger

I’m told they are a proprietary v3 style gearbox, LeHui, of course it is! So that will limit what can be done to it. The clear polycarbonate casing will have limits to work to aswell, more so than the proprietary mosfet. That said, running a higher torque and efficient motor with correct shimming will reduce the load on the mosfet, and should get better response too.

Part of the fun of gel blasters, working out what is possible within the limits of the toy!

I’ve had one apart. Nothing special, just a gearbox from distant memory.

Mine had a pressed steel trigger, so maybe there’s some confusion there. :man_shrugging: The early Le Hui blasters definitely had proprietry plastic ones, although I never had one break on me, and I had a few… go figure…

Shame Le Hui persist with clear gearbox shells… a better quality option like the JG Sig box would make a pretty good blaster even better. Same goes for the Le Hui Steyrs👍

I just kept the spring around M95 which gave me just under 300FPS and shimmed the gears. Solid little unit and not an M4
