yeah… this is a " cheap and cheerful" level purchase.
At the nylon price point, you don’t expect top shelf stuff…but its still quite a sturdy, solid build with good details. Even the forearm strap works.!!
Short barrel is an effort to get high fps, and they make all modern chinese stuff low fps.
Having said that, oring upgrade, better air seal, better M100 spring ( metal gears in a nylon box), and this should do 250-270 fps. Time will tell.
A lopnger barrel would help, but then you need a supp to cover it, which is sorta contrary to the overall short form factor.
Its a funny one.
In my conversations with QLD police…bringing in sights and scopes from O/S was all OK.
No import permit reqd…but as always ABF have final discretion.
They could be going on real steel etc, so sights, scopes, grips were not an issue, as i was told.
Doesen’t matter if they do go on real steel as when they check you and see you are a LAFO it’s is fine. Depends though as every state is different. I just focus on mine so I get it right. I’ve been over this too many times. But what is ok for me is different to maybe where you live. Because I know it is. Follow your states legislation and you are fine. I’ve spent more hours than a lot pouring all over it, why I know. Even trying to help interstate people out with there questions about what can and can’t be done. Always refer to your states legislation.
Or is it a ROFLMAO these days
Still looks a good shorty. I like me shorties, and bullpups for that matter. How do you find the controls the safety and mag release etc. Just asking as haven’t played around with those.
The controls are solid and functional.
Fire select is Not ambi….so it’s a bit more firm and positive.
Mag release is likewise crisp.
It’s an interesting form factor….
Stock retracted, you wanna hold and aim it like a pistol/ smg.
If it was real steel, in 300 BLK… you’d want to fire it with the stock extended, to help with recoil.
When it’s like that, it “feels tiny” , as you lean down into it., and a little weird…
So, because it’s just gel, the ideal solution is to wield from the hip, as a smg.
A red laser sight helps with from the hip aiming…no need to look through iron sights,/ red dot.
And , accurate enough for gel spray and pray, over 15-20 m….
i was joking about the gearbox… i knew it wouldn’t fit…
It has a funny little motor cage…with an adjustment screw…!! Good Value.!
Basically, you “Pinch” the side tabs,on the bottom of the grip.
The latch can then move out of the way.
Out falls the plastic cage, with an adjustable screw.
Pretty good for a nylon blaster …many don’t have em…
