Spoke to sabre militaria.
They are still coming, slowly, dealing with all the usual channels.
When they have something firmed up, they will email the folks who emailed them as interested in pre orders.

Longer than expected delays with production / conversion / import process…
So…
Not looking likely until early next year. Bummer.
On the up side, it gives you more time to save up…!!

Not really ZB26 being the forebearer of the Bren. Bren is a ZB26 rechambered to .303 for the Brits upon their request, hence the curved mag and mass adoption by Commonwealth forces. Aussies included.
I know the history of it. Why build a ZB28 Gelblaster when the Bren would sell like hotcakes
Why it’s the same thing 
Bit pricy and proprietary was all held it back.
I wouldn’t mount one on my Bren gun carrier - they look totally different and nerds like us would spot it a mile away. Maybe someday. PS I don’t own a carrier - yet
