Guys… should I get this one? Nylon receiver and only takes AK mags that cost 100 RMB each, but it takes standard v2 gearboxes and standard AR handguards. Thinking about the SLR ION grey 9 inch.
That looks awesome I’d buy it!
I have 3 of the Tactical Cat MK47 receivers, love them… catch with them was they only take their mags and they are unobtainable… unless you buy a full receiver kit which is not cheap and justifiable anymore… glad I bought enough mags before they disappeared!
Damn those look great. Alright, I’m going for it, hopefully it doesn’t cause me too much trouble haha.
Finally done after 2 months. I gave up and had to hand it over to the designated field tech.
MK 47 nylon receiver, Silver Wings metal SLR 9 inch handguard, Magpul MOE SL stock, Rugged Obsidian suppressor, T1 optic and some other stuff too lazy to list. Cast aluminium gearbox this time, with some random brushless motor and an LTP 2.0 mosfet, 16:1 gears short 2 teeth, 70% cylinder, M85 spring. Only 60 MPS (lol) and 35 RPS. Gonna run it for a while and then maybe bump up the spring. Feng Hai hopup.
Should I attach a flashlight in the front or leave it clean?
It’s up to you and your needs, but I’ve always been a fan of sleek clean Blasters, not Swiss Army Knife looking abominations!
Looks awesome!
I’m with Bob… unless you need a light leave it clean.
I have heaps of lights but only attach them if I am going to a night game, prefer them looking simple the rest of the time, and no need for the extra weight out front unless there is a need.
I find one accessory for multiple blasters is the best policy. You can only use one primary at a time, afterall.
I recently had a gawk at someone’s full metal M249 SAW… minimi. I swear it must have weighed close to 10kgs with all the accessories hanging off it. It was like picking up a toddler.
While I get the weight realism aspect, why anyone would want to hawk that much weight around in a game is a mystery to me.
Which is why I like iron sights, no optics, PEQs or torch attachments. They might look good but they weigh. When I build I aim for light weight although they invariably get heavier with metal gearboxes and receivers anyway.
Real soldiers only carry all the weight because they have to.
All true. I think I’ll keep this one light and sleek then.
Is that one the tactical cat one or a different one?
I have two tacital cats one in black and one cerakoted in tan, but im yet to be successful with building in one
