Mosfets Gate Titan for Gel Blaster

TITAN II Bluetooth® EXPERT for V2 GB

Was wondering if many people have experience in using the Titan mosfet for gel blasters.
Seems to have issues using bel blaster magazing motors, they keep spinning/feeding after trigger release in auto and semi fire, occasionally just inserting a mag will case it to spin.
Any one else experienced this?
And whats your favorite mosfet?

please just forget the titan or aster or anything from gate, use a perun hybrid or leviathan optical

I would agree with @rhettx on that. Gate are not regarded that well in airsoft these days, not sure why Azraels have decided to get them when Perun hybrids and leviathans exist.
And their gel blaster model still needs extra components to run a gel blaster magazine…

If you already have one, contact Azraels and ask them what they did to get one working, or they will likely sell you the little wiring harness circuit thing for the mags.

The older titan and asters had issues with magazine motors being connected.
Now the “gel blaster” version still has the same issues? not a good sign for gate.

I have too many blasters to spend the money on a leviathan, or even a perun hybrid. Fitted heaps of both and I love them, they are good.

But for my own stuff I have always used T238 1.7 optical. All the features I need, and none of the extra expense I don’t.
Recently been using some of the basic models when I just CBF dealing with semi issues, or wiring up a trigger block it works out only very slightly more expensive to just slap a T238 basic in, and I know it will work and do all the things, quicker to install too.

Have you put a T238 optical in a nylon CYMA gearbox

Was this the unit you’re talking about?

Actually don’t think I have… done a bunch in JingJi SLR boxes, I am overdue to go over my nylon cyma… Can test fit when I get to it. I do have 6 blasters in front of it though!

Tbh I reckon they’d work… the metal ones do and are very similar. The basic needs the trigger screw post filed off… much easier on nylon as you can just knife it away.

Yes… head over to t238.net they are about $80aud

Use code GBNOBODY for free shipping if you don’t want to spend over $98usd.

And you haven’t had any problems with ABF thinking it’s an airsoft part? I know there was problems with Levi’s like that.

Nope… I’ve been ordering from them for years.
Motors and ETUs… their ETUs are aimed at gel blasters more than Airsoft, with all of them coming with magazine wires pre soldered on.

I remember the first leviathan that came in “with gel blaster wires”… Literally just had a couple pieces of wire for you to solder on yourself :man_facepalming:

I was running T238 products in all my old dinosaur Blasters years ago when nothing else was available.

Plenty of old mates on the old GBF pulled the piss out of me for using T238 products, because according to them, they were cheap Chinese crap that couldn’t live up to the reputation of Gate/Leviathan/Perun etc. :unamused:

I only ran T238 Gear all that time because it was readily accessible for import here in WA and never had an issue with ANY of their products! :ok_hand:

I have recently made contact with T238, and they were very surprised that I had been using their stuff for over 5 years! They have come a long way, and they do have pretty decent customer support, and people you can actually email and chat on facebook/instagram etc.

There are limitations on their products compared to Perun/Jefftron… like I still don’t trust they are electrically insulated. But I didn’t trust that Perun/Jefftron were either. Safe not sorry! Worked with circuit boards and computers and no matter what, that is a cheap part of the unit to produce, and variance in specs and tolerances can exist in any board, and especially in any solder joint!

If they are installed, and survive testing and a game they last a long time. They only time I had issues it was apparent in the first testing/setup phase. Email, video… they will replace it - provided you did it in a reasonable time frame from purchase and install it correctly.

The main benefit, is they are designed for gel blasters, with airsoft as a by product (they need to snip the mag wires off).

Wouldn’t have been me, because I’m not old…that’s what she said…

I was following T238 with interest when he started up, when Galapagos J was about. What year was that  :person_shrugging:

There’s a 1.1 or 1.2 somewhere in my pile. Got the AUG one to fit yet, one of these days. Been consumed by work and other things.

Looking over the T238 site wow the range is quite extensive today. Might have to make an order and try one of those V3 ones out as well.

Good to see a budget friendly manufacturer survive.
