LDT mag wont fit. It has a stepped top.
BTW is the new BF select fire or have they just changed the mag release and charging handle?

Yeah, it wont fit.
LDT on the left, new BF on the right.
The LDT mag, wont even fit into the BF.
Different terminals on top too.
The select fire on the new BF does work…although its a little loose, and easy to inadvertently change.
All in all, the new BF is a rip-snorter for the price point…aesthetics are top notch, for a budget blaster. Get on on special, when you can…!

Between LDT and BF model, which one you would prefer?
LDT has better performance…(280 fps)…but they are a nightmare to work on.
Minimal use, for mine…
BF is quite good quality, good price, and is a better choice for a everyday gameday blaster.
If thats what you’re after… go for a BF.

I’d go for the simplicity of the BF… not to mention the lower price of entry.

The BF is pretty simple, nice and works. A lot of standard ish parts for cylinder piston etc.
The LDT is very nice and works well… absolute time consuming to work on. If the return spring breaks the tappet plate gets destroyed, just how the design is. If the circuitry gets fried good luck finding a replacement! And pretty much goes for most of the thing really.
I will repair them, but my statement is always it is a long winded expensive repair just because the time involved is not quick, and there are really only two o-rings you can upgrade (cylinder head and piston head o-rings) and clean and grease.
Generally the only thing that breaks is the return spring and tappet plate. If you get one and plan on using it gets those also. You will need them at some point.
Ldt is very nice blaster, just almost completely proprietary.
