Vas gave me a discount…

very short burst tonight…heading out.

i was a bit concerned about a possible perished o-ring…

i needn’t have been concerned…

thats just after a spring upgrade…2 min jobby…

Detailed review about everything later…
quick snapshot for now…

These are pretty nice but of kit, I’ve had one for a while but still yet to do more than put one mag of gels through it lol.

Keen to see Beemer’s take on it.

Heard good things about those. Should be as they are bit exxy.

You’ll be right now to blow the middle east up   :v:

you get special training, for trumps special forces…

" I’d be the greatest in the special forces…i’m so forceful…
I force myself onto so many women, they let you do it when you’re a star…
Go covert operation…make sure no one else sees…then you have deniability afterwards…"

 :face_vomiting:  :face_vomiting:

Now you need another shirt

You left out the most important line…

Okay, here we go…

A lot to UNPACK, so time to get onto the CASE…
Time for a holiday…pack your BAGS…!!
Thinking what to bring, can be a HARD CASE…!!

Just in CASE your curious…!!

Very high quality case, very solid.
Has combo locks, and key locks, so it aint going nowhere
( 9’ angle grinders notwithstanding!)

The kit comes with…
battery…balance charger…2 metal magazines…keys.

So… The magazines…

Tight, tight, tight…!!

Thats the feed gate cover flap.
Its soooo tight, with no room.
I needed to use the fine tip of something sharp ( see…i needed the axe!!) to open it.

This was unacceptable, so out with the dremel.
Had to remove some from the front, and angle the underside, to get a finger tip in.
Now its all sorted. Standard M4 mag compatible.

Opening the blaster at the back is easy… 1pin out.
This exposes the battery cover ( with cloth cable protector…good idea) and the rear of the gearbox.
This makes for quick and simple spring changes.

All metal spring retainer, so a candidate for any custom spring mods.

Now, performance…
Its got a proprietry nylon gearbox, with metal gears.

The supplied spring is the same size as a M95, but thinner…250-260 fps.
Grouping is VERY tight, at standard spring setting…very long barrel.

The M95 goes in easily, with a little bit of pressure to close the box.
This yields about 320-330 fps, with still pretty decent groupings.

This is pretty much the sweet spot…good performance, pretty good gel accuracy, and minimal extra stress on the gearbox. All good for long term use.

The M100 yielded the big numbers above.
370-390 fps… with sorta reasonable grouping.
The spring is TOUGH to get in, a lot of pressure going in and closing the gearbox.

My gut feeling is, not a good idea for proprietry pieces out of circulation.
Big numbers now…big bang later on.
Lets not go there… and try to hunt for parts.

M95 Feels about right…without overstressing anything.

Should you desire a dollop more grunt…this is a good candidate for a 'custom M98 cut-down" spring.
Metal spring retainer would stand up to any scuffing.

These results were achieved using Cyber trigger small hard purples.

This blaster seems to like smaller gels.
I tried some slightly larger gells when i first got it home, and had feeding issues.

Jamming, building up , and flopping out at 160 fps.
Clearing it all , and using smaller gels, and it runs smoothly.

Anyway…quick run around the block…

Good detailing on the body.
Its VERY sturdy…and well balanced.

There are 2 switches at the rear.
The one closest to the mag is mag release…nuff said.
The rearward one is mag prime/ bolt release button.

Bit of a word on blowback.
It cycles…but is easily ( temp) disabled.
The blowback cycles the ejection port on the RHS…exposing the gearbox.

Fire without cocking the charging handle…blowback clatters away.
if you cock the charging handle before firing…it pushes the blowback plate back, and locks it out.

Full auto, and the plate just sits back.
This reduces wear, load on the battery, and increases ROF AND FPS. ( yes, its one of those)

When your done…press the rear button to release it.
You can then cycle on semi, until the cylinder is parked properly.

It provides a " visual indicator" , of where the cylinder is…plate fully closed is piston full forward ( one would assume).
It can take a few goes to get it properly parked.

Now a blurb on Semi/ auto selecting…

It may be because its new and not worn in yet…but…semi can " run" a bit.

i.e keep firing on semi…
1 shot…1 shot…1 shot… 2 shots… 2 shots… 3 shots…Jam.
Ends in a jam…full auto to get it running again.

I’m prepared to give it some time, and see if it settles in.
Pulling it apart, would be a bit…complicated…

The black does look…PHwoarr…!!!
50 shades of…" how do i replicate THAT.??

But, sadly…out of stock.

Speaking of colours…

Tan was not my colour of choice…but all that was available.
The body is very solid…but the tan shows marks easily.
Being a bullpup…your hands are all over it.
Its gonna get dirty…!! ( giggitty…!!)

Best way to clean it , is with kitchen chem wipes.
Gets it clean, with minimal pressure.

Considering a repaint, it could be done…i think the nylon would take a good coat of paint.
Problem is, wear would be high, and need touch ups.

This is the case with my Scorpion Evo, Nato green.
It does mark easily, but easy to touch up with spray cans from a distance.
It does mean, however, you cant use a clear coat on top, if you want to keep touching up.

So, two options…

  1. spray can, no clear coat, easy touch ups.
  2. Airbrush cover, thicker coat, clear coat on top to seal…and hope it holds up. No easy touch ups with clear coat on top.

Decisions, Decisions…
Or, look for a black 2nd handy…good luck with that…!!

Comparo pic, with SW Steyr…

The SW is a good bullpup comparo…
Same size, same 320 fps performance OOTB, half the price.

M100 porn pics…

390 is the new 380 …!!

Couldn’t we get 1111 R/min.?

M95 shots… ROF up a bit, as expected.

Where’s that 1234 R/min…?!

So… final thoughts…

Great bit of kit…but exxy.
Great performance levels, good long barrel, takes standard mags.

There is one left.
If you’re keen … get it…

Stop me getting it, for spares and painting…!!

P.S.
The RE axe case, can hold 3 pistols.
You need to take the foam cutout out…and insert a thin layer.
The case is a chinese cheapy…just clip latches, and thin metal.

But, looks alright…

The TARVOR is a weird enough weapon…Capcom might use it for the next RE game.!!

They like using obscure , real weapons…

Farkin hell money bags :moneybag::moneybag::moneybag::moneybag:

You neglected to mention they were a grand 🫪 :joy:

They ain’t cheap that’s for sure!
I was fortunate to know a guy
… and did a trade for one that was blaster and mag only, no case battery charger extra mag etc.

Given the price and scarcity, I am hesitant to do anything to it. I will at some point no doubt as I can’t help myself! But yeah, totally proprietary gearbox that’s nylon and unobtainable makes it something that will be pretty conservative on the works.

As a note, not normal gen8/SLR style M4 mags.
Closer to CYMA is what they run but they are kind of their own thing.

Thats funny…

i grabbed a M4 style mag in the cupboard, tried it , and it worked…

Mind you , it was an metal E&C m4 mag…
worked , straight off the bat…

And, nothing more than a spring replacement needs doing…
Do you really want more than 380 fps.?.?

The semi issue might be the only reason…but it isi behaving a bit better, with some use…

i was only joking about the extra one…!!!

or, was i.?.?

I didn’t pay a grand…Vas gave me a very good discount…

The only thing I’d be concerned about are those wire connectors in the stock.

Are they actually fully exposed, or do they fit into a heat shrunk connection!

the bit of cloth, is sliding, and has some movement.
The battery loops up, and sits on top.
you can cover the bending bits…
