Finally got the Rossi Puma out to the range. Heaps of fun to shoot but that loading gate spring needs wearing in!
Shot Magtech .38 Special into a nice group with irons. Magtech .357 Magnum I’d call acceptable.
Took my son’s friend to the range for his first shoot and he loved it, favorite gun out of the 6 we brought 
We’re hunting fallow over easter, my son will have the bolt action but I might carry this as a backup gun. Would love to put something on the ground with it

Disclaimer I know next to nothing how to 3D print. But find it pretty cool how you can make intricate parts. Bit like a NC milling machine I used to run at work for a bit at a guess. But not to the detail and forms that can be made. What a shame really.

The thing you have to understand and most people get wrong… is the states control their firearms laws. Regardless of what Federal suggests should be the way. This has been the way for decades and why not one state has a common law as Federal can not apply it Nationally, it gets knocked back in Federal courts because of push back from the different states. And the Federal members loose popularity and their seats.
Federal gov does not have the power to overide a States decision on anything. Ala Dubyay. And Queensland, and Victoria, and NSW, and SA. As a lot are saying it’s been brought in at Federal level all states must comply. I’ve been through this rodeo before, the bullshit that Paul Keating started, the bullshit that Howard fkd around with. I just don’t care anymore as they are so corrupt it’s not funny.

Every state always has and continue to draft their own gun laws according to their state and situation. A nation wide supposed Federal thing won’t even fly in court let alone the states courts. The National firearms register they have been working on for 30 years and still haven’t done it. You may think I’m talking shit but it’s truth. 7 years ago I was supposed to have a type and model check when the system crashed and they lost all records of LAFO ownership. Dad used to have a .303 powerhead(for spear fishing (explosion fishing) you had to have your head out of the water for concussion reasons) bought at Kmart. Illegal now and long handed in. They were slightly longer than the cartridge.

Same here, been watching this guy for ages and get to see some pretty insane inventions, but also always thinking about barrel wear on many of these things, but that’s exactly what the Sabot’s are for!
The Rossi Puma was a big hit with my daughter and Mrs Jug over the Easter break. We put about 150 rounds of 38 special and 357 magnum down range. Now we need dies, power and projectiles

We’ve lightened the magazine spring but really need to sort out the loading gate, its a doosey
I had the Rossi Rio Grande stainless in 30-30 and it was a surprisingly good shooter. Only moved it on because I was sick of reloading 30wcf. Straight wall cartridges are so much better for reloading.
