Like I don’t know… Just joking around with past experiences. Well I hope because damn it is funny.
Yes the common lingo here is not machine translated AI crap. It is in your face. haha, oh man fucking 18" shifters flying to kill each other I’ve seen a fair bit.
They are bloody hard workers when they are not angry and trying to kill each other though. Usually after they had too much of the Grappa the night before, fk they were stinking in the morning. I got their respect though as I got shit sorted out for them so they could make car wheels. I pulled the hard yards. Once you earn their respect you are gold
Then you get a hey Boi, come try my grappa at 8AM on Christmas shutdown day, fk me it is like rocket fuel
Mate back in the 70s I got conned into judging who made the best homemade vino by two old italian old boys. Both called Tony, one a Marrinucci, the other a Marruca.
Fark me… didn’t know what I was getting in for. I thought it was just a bit of fun… had no idea how seriously they were taking it. All from their own home grown grapes
One tasted okay, the other tasted like epoxy resin. I told them which Tony made the best wine, and the loser didn’t speak to me for a week. The only way I could get him onside was to call him the winner of the grappa contest we had next.
iniziare la vendetta!!
haha some of goings on I felt like a punching bag in the middle. Kingswood rims flying at each other.
Whoever manager decided to put an Italian as head of one line on the straight and crop, then a Greek on line 2 should have been sacked. Man did they have some fights and they were 60yrs old at the time Roll down, oh right it’s world war 3 happening. There was no google translate wasn’t even invented oh my god.
I was can you fkrs just settle down I don’t want to have to scoop bits of human off the floor yet again. You are in Australia put all that shit behind you, and could you kindly make some car rims instead
No worries Boi, ok ok.
That grappa from their own grow grapes, we makka with our own feet. Oh right that’s what that smell is. Jeesus I don’t mind a beer now and again but this is what Elon Musk should be powering his rocket with he’d go beyond Mars end up fk knows where
I will be posting heresy but I just picked up a Ming Dynasty SCAR H. Bought the Cyma/Jund SCAR L and was throughly disappointed with the build quality and out of box performance. I will be paying more for mags but hey at least it won’t break in 3 months.
And , have you got it on Vinyl though? Because I have
what’s everyone’s thoughts on the Jin Ming SCAR-L ?
I see one for sale for cheap. are they any good?
I believe they are quite good. Hopefully some others will comment with experience as I have not had hands on myself.
Hmmmm… I have one of those. Basically a rebranded Bing Feng, so the usual BF issue… nice shell, average gearbox.
You should go check out some of the Youtube reviews on them… particularly Low Guido’s if you’re planning on tearing it down, which you’ll probably have to do eventually, because… Bing Feng. Very mixed opinions on them.
I also put up a bit of a blurb about mine on here in late 2023 too. Needed a lot of work to make it properly functional, but a much cheaper MK17 than the LDT offering at the time.
The CYMA is a much better and more reliable out-of-the-box blaster if you don’t feel inclined to fettle, IMO. But hey… it’s a SCAR H MK17, and who doesn’t love a 7.62 magazine?
Mags for these are available from AKGelblasters too, btw.
There’s another SCAR out there that flys under the radar… Moyu SCAR L MK16.
Made by Moyu, but same manufacturer as the older M4 Punisher V2s. Nice build quality, up there with CYMA nylon SCAR Ls, maybe even better.
The only issue with Moyu SCARs is that they share the same proprietry gearbox and MOSFET as the Punisher V2s… so that hard plugged FET mounted under the motor in the base of the grip gives you a really easy teardown but a fair bit of trigger lag to put up with. The shell’s very decent though, particularly when you compare it to a Jin Ming SCAR V2.
iHobby sells them for $290, GBU wants $300 but you can still pick one up marked for clearance for $179 at Renegade Blasters. Big price difference.
If you want reliability and upgrade options the metal cyma SCAR-L is THE go. Thing is a beast.
Love mine, gave it the full works
The LDT SCAR-H is on my list of wantings… but it is thinner on the ground and likliehood I can find one for the money I am willing to part with are low, but one day. Having either the original version with nylon warinterest gearbox, or the later with the LDX basic both leaves me with it needs an LDX expert or clone vibes. So what is an expensive blaster will get more expensive for me lol!
The BF/Ming Dynasty versions do look and feel pretty good. If I can’t find an LDT version for the right price my collection would deal with having one of them just fine I think.
Mags are also much cheaper for the BF/MD version.
Ultimately, if you don’t mind nylon and want good value, the CYMA nylon scar-l is good, same great nylon cyma gearbox as their M4s, and a robust nylon shell that is much lighter than their metal version… which is heavy, once you put a few accessories on it is quite the tank, Even more so if you add an EGLM
The CYMA is a much better and more reliable out-of-the-box blaster if you don’t feel inclined to fettle
Man I must have gotten a bad batch or something in that case.
Mine has scratches all over the place its shooting pretty bad out of the box. Worst of all was the plastic holding the lower rail mount was thinner than my self esteem. That thing bent with the slightest pressure and after seeing that I don’t think I’m getting CYMA/JUND stuff again in my country…
I’ve already returned it and used the money to get the SCAR H. Man it feels so good and holding the 7.62 mags just felt right. Now to find mag pouches that holds them
On the modding and teardown, yeah I’ve actually seen your post on it and Chop Shop’s video. Planning to take a look and change the spring and maybe add a mosfet since there’s no magprime (a necessary luxury). The main reason why I got the MD in the first place was that a friend told me they selling CNC Metal uppers over in the lands where gel blasters come from. It costs as much if not more than the unit itself but the possibility for it kept me going!
If you want reliability and upgrade options the metal cyma SCAR-L is THE go.
Man the things I’m willing to do to have access to some of the replicas you guys have access to… Really wanted the metal CYMA SCAR but it’s not available here.
I agree mag prime’s handy but never something I get hung up on. If I’ve got no mag prime I just make sure I fill up the feed tube when I’m filling the mag, one or two dry fires and you’re good to go.
Not sure why you’d want to install a FET for priming, easiest way is just put a microswitch inside the shell behind the charging handle and run a couple of wires. Plenty of videos on how to do that online.
Yeah, sounds like you got a dud CYMA / Jund… not sure what you get in your country but Jund is like the lower end of CYMA’s line usually. Like @RokSolid said CYMA are regarded as solid little units here in Oz.
@RokSolid The BF MK17s aren’t bad externally but you have to be okay with the fifty shades of tan livery and the nylon shell… and strangely, if you google FN’s official website, the MK17s were released in those exact colours… BF actually got it right.
You did well there. Got the Ugg boot and all Seriously looks awesome
I can’t EVER get that Ugg Boot thing out of my head, hence my love affair with ACR’s instead!
Can’t have a SCAR without the ugg boot, Doc.
EMBRACE THE UGG BOOT!
