I got an extra mag with it and I’m not sure which one but one did have a slight leak at the release valve but I just tightened it like 1/8 turn and it stopped,

Oddly one mag has more of a texture to it than the other, but not sure which one was stock now.

Not only upside down, but on the piss as well!

They sent you the wrong model that was made for other side of world where the gravity is upside down

Never would’ve taken you for a flerfer @Maiphut :smirk::rofl:

Not a recent purchase but looking at a second hand aps ask209
Anyone have any experience with it?

going to order the cyma m4 with mosfet and metal gears when it comes out. Planning on adding a green o ring, hop up, an m95, an 11v, and going to obviously clean and grease. I want to make the nozzle more airtight but i cant find any for sale. Let me know if there are any more easy and cheap upgrades please. Also, would m90 be better for accuracy? Also not sure exactly what specific spring to get(linear or not and what material)

@Puffy aps AKs are about as good as we got in gel blasters AKs. I’d put them on par with double bell AKs. There are some things each does better than the other but but come out similar overall.

@Max cyma m4 is a good blaster. I’m told it has an eshooter ETU which has been received well so far, and a full metal rack piston. Cyma metal rack pistons are tough and it’s good to have them.
As for springs I prefer the non linear type as the pick up stress on the first few teeth is much lighter on the system. SHS red or blue packet springs are what I normally use, depends on what is available at time of order.

M90, 95, or 100… all depends on the risk you are willing to endure on the cast gear lottery. I’d go m90 if you want to retain accuracy and longevity, also the stock cyma motors are very weak, anything over m90 would make a noticeable impact on rps and battery amp draw.

As for the nozzle the cyma cylinder head and nozzle kits have been out of production for a while and getting difficult to find. Currently I just use an ldt nozzle and tpiece instead. Catch is you need to thicken up the “wings” on the tpiece with some aluminium tape or similar so it doesn’t wobble and locates well… and if you use cyma mags cut a bit off the feed tube to make it similar size to cyma feed tube. Bit of work but the results are worth it and ldt nozzles and tpieces are easy to find and usually good.

Yep, I have the model before that was a bit of a pre production model AK-L. Same setup but they refined a few things on your 209.

I didn’t like the mag well err I dunno what you call them side guards as they were obstructing the mag from getting fully seated and breaking the mag lock tab off.

I modded it, took it off and threw it in the bin, then closed the trigger guard gap up to bring the lock tab closer to where it should be.

Bear in mind mine is not that exact model but a year or so before so they should have it pretty right. Gearbox and internals are pretty bulletproof.

Solid unit, mine still goes :+1: Shouldn’t go too wrong for the right price. Parts are standard, or should I say available.

Thank you for the response! This very helpful information

One more thing. Do you think a mosfet is required or recommend for an 11v?

It is not required. An ETU can help improve trigger response and shorten trigger travel, and remove electrical load on a mechanical switch but is 100% not required.

All the benefits mentioned are wasted on a blaster with stock gears and motor in my opinion.
Better to put money into gears and motor and getting everything else done and done right then add the ETU as the last upgrade imo.

Picking this JM ACR J10 tomorrow for a song from a guy who advertised it as a G36… not working, apparently. Can’t tell me why. But I’ve never owned an ACR so… good times! :sunglasses:

@DocBob couple of quick questions for the ACR expert.

The gearbox is just standard Gen9, yeah?

Is the receiver compatible with any V2 box or is it like the Gen9 M4 receiver, different shape at the rear?

Do Gen9 magazines fit and function in ACRs? I don’t have a Gen9 M4 but my F2000 runs Gen9 mags and I have a few of those already.

Yes, perfect. Got sent a wrong order of Gen8’s that were Gen 9’s so they got given away to my mate with an ACR after testing function.

I’ve actually got a few bits after working on his somewhere here like the 3D printed barrel stabiliser was it  Some bit’s anyway that don’t fit anything else. iirc they were from Nadda3D when he was doing such things. Will go and have search one day as they are just collecting dust. Be in touch :+1:

Probably just got pinched wires at back of the receiver. They are a tight fit and removing the butt stock often pinches the wires, strips the outer and causes a short. Check out the vids on how to relieve the shell so you don’t pinch the wiring

Yeah, I know about the wire pinching issue. :+1:Whatever the problem is, it won’t be much… it’s an ACR.

Why JinMing designed it the battery storage the way they did is a bit of a mystery. Got a feeling I’ll be modifying it so the battery goes in and out through the cheek riser like the JM SCAR V2s.

Yeah all standard JinMing Gen9/10stuff fits and works in the ACR.

My Bushmaster version is running the MK TACTICAL Hybrid 98 Alloy gearbox and was front wired to the handguard, so that is always an option, or on my others I simply opened up the battery cover hole and added extra heat shrink to the cables to alleviate the wire kinking issue. :ok_hand:

Shouldn’t take much to get it working as a man of your talents! :raised_hands:

ACR/R now with stock gearbox and m100 spring. 290 fps. Did have metal gears, etc but needs new gears. Built to play at Nuketown but never made it. Reasonably accurate at 40m on auto

Cut out for battery - still needs finishing off

Cut out at rear of gearbox to get wires through without chafing

Battery in stock

Battery is a tight fit once cheek riser is installed

Kele P08 luger picked up from X Force today. $140. Not a blaster. Shell eject replica toy only. Not too bad for a toy replica. Plastic grips feel crappy. Metal mag, full metal frame, laser pointer activates on trigger pull, locks open when empty. 8 replica rounds included. Does not shoot gels or darts.
Also had a look at the new Uzi while I was there. Feels nice, can get an accessory kit for $99 that comes with a suppressor, folding stock (nice and solid) and some rails etc. Probably going to get one of those. All metal, nice markings etc.

What Uzi do you mean.?
Nothing on their website.?

Folding stock.?

Do you mean the mp-9.?

Also, you could try getting a pair of wooden grips, from sixmm …

The Uzi should be on their website today or early next week. IWS UZI with optional accessories. I think it was $250 for the Uzi and $99 for the extras. Felt nice in the hand. I’ll be getting one.
