Yeah, you’ve had your eye on one of those for a while…
Don’t ya love it when a plan comes together?
Yeah a little while. The b709a approval actually came pretty quickly this time, like a week to be approved
Might be a good time to get your next one sent off @BME
I might wait, till you do your review, before i reconsider…!
Speaking of Tec-9’s…
The cyclons used a dressed up Tec-9, in the Battlestar Galactica remake.
This clip is from “Blood and Chrome” …around 3:05 is when they eject and use em…
Great remake and series…!
I just meant your next b709a application, not for the tec 9
Don’t know if anyone remembers these from back in the day…
Cheap enough at $3 a packet for me to get four bags… and I’ll probably order four more.
Ignore the 7.2mm grow statement, in my experience they are somewhat on the larger side (kind of like X-Force pinks). They work well in just about every one of my blasters, particularly well in the older lower powered blasters and KELe manuals that I tend to favour.
Dinosaur gels for a dinosaur collector… makes perfect sense to me.
Oi enough of the dinosaur. I still got those
They were good. The yellow ones were poop, grew too small.
Dang those prices, $3 for springs.
Yeah I’ve got a few packets of them, they go well
and J12 mags for $3.00
That’s cheap…
Shame the J9 mags are full price at $25… would have liked to have seen those for $3 each.
looks nice.
Ausgel sell the THOR (?) single launcher for $99.
That could also be a good one shot base…
This is a E&C M203 long version. I also have the short version but I think long version looks better. The Stand-Alone Frame cost $200 (import from overseas) so I would not put a $99 version launcher on it. But thanks for your advice.
Did a search and found @Bart368’s kit as well as this one.
Obviously USD$ price
However I think bart’s kit with the E&C M203 looks heaps better than the ausgel would in my opinion
The ausgel one is a CYMA pistol 40mm… they won’t work with this sort of kit, there are a stand alone thing. Same for if trying to mount in underslung of a blaster.
Even if removing the pistol grip on them, due to the break action reloads are impossible as there is not enough room to slide in a grenade.
They do make for some good fun though as a pistol. And have a couple mates that have extended them with some 40mm poly pipe and ingenuity. That makes it more like a M79 without a stock sort of… and does reduce the spread a bit, and looks pretty good, though makes it far less portable. I run mine in a canvas drop leg holster.
This is the kit I got , Yes, It is better than the ausgel one you found
This stock…
MOE stock for my M4 CQB from iHobby… not sure how I feel about it. It has two spring steel arms that hold the stock tight, absolutely no movement. Good cheek weld too, a bit like a mini crane stock.
But damn… it’s such a bitch to adjust and remove for battery swaps.
how about you just remove the 2 screws at the back of the stock then remove the rubber pad . Put the battery in then screw the pad back on again
Couldn’t agree more, love the look and feel but needing a tool to remove the stock SUCKS!
There are ways you could make it less painful to work with but then it would remove the snugness.
These work well with buffer tubes that don’t have the “stop” at the end, so you can adjust them straight off the buffer tube. Or file the stop off?
That would take longer than wrestling it off… ain’t nobody got time for that kinda like removing someone’s tonsils via their arsehole. So yeah, there’s that.
Not a big fan of tools to take off buttstocks.
@RokSolid I think I can pop out the two tensioning leaf springs and shorten them so it’s a little less tight. You have to basically put the stock on as far as it will go and then smack it hard on the back to get it to push the springs in… overkill.
It is, however the most solid sliding stock I’ve ever seen. Like a fixed stock when you get it to where you want it.
