Resident Evil REVO3...(or, Scorpion Evo 3 mash-up)

I’m leaning towards cutting the post off…option 1.

only way you’ll see if it closes properly…
and if it doesn’t…no harm to the blaster, just the kit.

There is a mid capa, and high capa kit.

I asked for the hi capa…they had no stock.

maybe its a bit bigger…?

Also, the mag release lever mechanism doesnt fit / looks to be missing the extending lever…

oh well…its all fun and games…

Blu-tack mock up, of the tip bit i want…

shouldn’t be too hard to 3d print.??

scan / print from the kit shell shape.?

Also, i must make mention, of the folding stock.

Big shout out again, to @Friendly_Fire , for helping with fixing it.

He applied some packing inside , on the stock base, and removed all the slop.

Its now a super tight fit , on / off…and no movement whatsoever…!!

Champion effort…!!

What a legend, you are very lucky with your helper there.

Some wagon went splat killed more australians.

I had ef ups today big style. My dad is inbound hot to assist. Doctors and gov wouldn’t answer. Too busy having massive argument about what I mentioned months ago. Oh well tears for years.

So if thats all that wrong you are having a good day :+1:

Yeah, the problem is the ASG Scorpion EVO 3 is completely different to the Le Hui. In soooo many ways, so it’s not surprising that you’ve got fitment issues. Especially around the magwell and mag release catches.

Ah well… Dremel and files spring to mind. Get in… it’s great fun. :+1:

I see lots of polymer dust in your nasal passages in your immediate future.

Who am I kidding? I’ll pop the kettle on…

Oh yea of little faith…

I hope your kettle’s quick…!!

Done…as good as it’ll get…

I started dremelling…and realised the rear post had to go.

hacksawed off…

it lies flat, but as you start to tighten it, it flares out at the rear…

gotta find that max tightness / minimum flare point…

when you’re there …still a bit of a gap at the front.
But, not visible from the side.

it doesn’t “feel” too bad, when you hold it.

Close up of the side.

rear view…bit of a flare…unavoidable…

i’ll have a hot milo, if the kettle’s still on…!!

it’s pretty solid…but slides fore / aft.

I’ll slide it forward, put on some hot glue, and see how it goes.

Still removeable.

a sand, tidy up, and paint of where it was cut.

Very nice, looks uber cool. :+1:

Hot Milo, hey? Feelin’ a bit spicy, Beemer? I’d make one for you but you’re driving…

As good as it can get, for (another ) bitsa…

to be honest, i was expecting fitting problems.

Different kit, different model / shape.

I originally ordered 2 kits, so i could hack one up without stress.

Its now a good thing they only sent one…i can ask for a refund…!!

Its come a long way, from the original techni colour beast.!

i wonder what can be done, to print out the angled muzzle tip…should be a small job…

i’ll clean it up, and see how the hot glue works… should hold it.

Hot glue seems to be holding…

grabbing it, tends to want to push it backwards… and its all the way back.

as long as you don’t Pull it forward…should be fine…

I prefer Milo in my hot coffee’s…

It’s great :+1:t2:

This 100%! I replaced sugar with milo in my coffee many years ago, it is awesome!

Singing to the choir, boys…

Make that three who put Milo in their coffee. :+1:

Now all we have to do is figure out how to get Beemer to put coffee in his Milo.

Milo instead of sugar eh? Will certainly try that.

Major thread drift!

I missed out again, is the kettle still on?  :v:

Make sure the 9" grinder is locked in. Oh right different project, at least I won’t have to unplug you out the wall

Kinda happens especially when I get involved

All in good fun. You guys are too funny.

This sounds like a new product….
