1: full pull down and paint. What green.? What black.? What the…!!!
2: Rear stock to fit.
This will involve extensively modding an existing stock…like grinding it down to fit. No other way around it. more on that later.
3: Dress Kit from overseas.? lets see… cheapo triangles are a standby option.
4: cut side mounted "circular grips " down. To preserve rounded ends, will cut and join in the middle.
5: red dot…easy… cheapo available.
6: shorten mag
7: finally…full gearbox replacement.?? @Friendly_Fire did this to his…dremeling out and modding reqd… fitted a Gen 10 box.
I’ve seen his in action, 300 fps thumper, sounds nice, and befits a zombie killer…!!
Nope… I put a Gen 8 in it. A monster Gen 8, mind you.
The problem you’re going to have with fitting an ACR box or any box with fire select is figuring out how to engage a select lever… why I went Gen 8 cos I’m a lazy bastard. The proprietry Le Hui box is early Gen and doesn’t use a selector plate to shift firing options.
Lots of shell clearing required and the bottom of the box ends up hanging out into the trigger guard area which means custom trigger. A shortened metal Gen 8 does the trick.
But it was worth all that, I’m a huge CZ fanboy and the snappy trigger with a red Chi Hai is mint, forward wire it and run a big 3S lipo in the front and you’ll shit your jammies when you pull the trigger.
I mean, really… get the paint right and it’s just dead sexy… three different configs, the bottom pic showing the modified MP5 handguard that houses the big mofo lipo.
Rustoleum is gritty to the touch, splatters a bit on application, and is a bit heavy.
Tamiya has a light application, goes on evenly, no splatter, and a very smooth finish.
Good to note, for the future…
This one below has TS-5 Olive ( darker) and Ts-29 semigloss black, with a light spray of ts-80 flat clear.
