The Cyma mags have those spring loaded pins on the top of the mag as terminals.
Will take some pics tonight :+1:

Metal or nylon?

I’ve been lucky with the nylon ones I’ve got.

Same here. I had 4 of the nylon stick mags, and they all fed flawlessly.

I have both and mainly use nylon, Just have the occasional feeding issue where the gells jam, have to shake the mag to loosed the jam and then it works again… but it can be frustrating.

The CYMAs fed well - although I certainly haven’t played around with it that much to be conclusive.
But the LDTs are not compatible with the CYAM mags.

Did you find anywhere to get extra mags for the Cyma MP5?
Or am I going to have to bastardise this thing?:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Nope - no spare mags that I can find.

tactoys doesnt even have a listing on their site for the actual blaster.

Yeah, listing disappeared after I ordered mine

All right so i picked up the ldt mp7 last friday from wat, two extra mags and the bigrrr battery for $38x. The external quality is very nice, and its a very comfortable blaster i was worried it would feel small.

Tried out with 2-3 month old gels and it didnt like that at all, more picky then other blasters, was fine on fresh ultras.

Accuracy is all over the shop, went to get slimline hop up to fit on muzzle. But ended with an aztech cnc ones. Helped a bit but still not great.

Fps was noticeably lower the my other blasters, guess mid to high 200’s. Tested at gelsoft today before game and yeah readings between 250 to 290.

I used it in 4 rounds today and no dramas. Hopefully it stands the test of time..

Great review :+1:
Would be even better if we can all start a topic thread under the particular model heading so that we can try and compile the wealth of information available that we used to have on the old Forum.

Pics of the blaster, along with your thoughts and details, plus any future modifications that can be added to the thread :white_check_mark:

Will make an easy to find reference for everyone in the future looking to purchase or modify :ok_hand:

I just put 6 mags through the P226. It holds 12-14 gels per mag. Ultra elites run smoothly when soaking wet but if they’re dry, it gets jammed. I’ve got a garbage bin about 15 meters from my back door and it was hitting straight consistently. It has a decent amount of recoil and when the gels were the right size, it was flawless. There is a little bit of wriggle room on the slide now though.

Played with one this morning. It’s a heavy sucker but at least it has a double action trigger. Can’t remember the real version being that heavy. The ihobby black version also has the printing on the slide

The real one feels the same when fully loaded. Got ‘‘em side by side. Everything looks good, apart from the markings and sights.
