Rx akm 47

Is RX AKM 47 worth buying? Is it durable, ideas on accuracy and rangr?

I had one for a while… as AEG AKs go, they’re not bad, you could do worse.

Most people disable the blowback on them pretty quickly… I don’t know how long they last if you keep blowback intact, I disabled mine straight off the bat because I didn’t want to find out.

With an M90 spring and o ring upgrade mine was hitting around the high 280FPS mark pretty consistently. Range is the same as every other blaster because… gel blasters.

Solid build though… the fake wooden furniture can feel a bit slippery and I always found the grip a bit too small for me, but other than that I couldn’t really fault it.

Streets ahead of the CYMA / Jund AK47 for build quality.

As said, disable the blowback and they aren’t too bad. The only problem I had with them when I worked for a retailer that sold them, was that particular retailer didn’t stock gears for them, and they kind of use their own proprietary gears. So if that is something you want to replace/upgrade your options are very limited. The metal gear versions were decent, the nylon ones would get eaten by the blowback pretty quick.

Definitely disabling blowback makes them last much longer. For something that came with metal gears and 11v, once blowback is disabled they were reasonably reliable and decent performing, especially with an m90 and an oring. You can get cylinder heads and nozzle for them too in consistency is high on your list, I had one with all the above and it cranked out 320fps on an m90 and was pretty decent performer. With a hopup it was quite accurate too.

My RX is great … not the hardest hitter vs a DB or APS, but prob around 250fps and pretty quiet compared to those. Build/plastic quality is fine. No mag issues like my DB. Supposedly the mags are interchangable, but not in my experience.

I think mine has the metal gearbox.

Three thumbs up :+1: :+1: :+1:
