Shake, RATTLE(r) and roll...(Or... double time , double up!)

Two fer one deal…!!

Busy few days recently…!
Reviews building up.!

This is a quick double take, on the LeHui MCX, and the E&C compact.
Having said that, Brad has already done a video review, so if you’ve seen that, this is old news.

Im pretty knackered so just a brief touch on the LH for now…

Doh.!

I just realised… i need to take more pictures.!

this is it, so far…

Super short version…good value for $200.

Build quality is typical LH nylon, fairly sturdy.
Front fish cage is a little flexy…but sits in place well.

Battery plug is visible, and could do with some painting.

Performance was from ihobby blues…circa 280 fps, and good accuracy / spread at that FPS.

Mag prime works, stock extends / retracts well.
It does double feed on semi, though, and can have a slight overrun on full auto.

What causes that, and what is the fix.??

All in all , typical nylon, nice and light, it gives off terminator police station vibes…

For this level, a spring / oring upgrade would be about it,
I’ll pull it apart later ( simple is more my level) , and try a M95.
Its good good accuracy, so i dont want to bump the fps up too much…

They look nice!!!

Hmmm…

for those technically inclined amongst us, and with LeHui experience…

This thing jams a bit.

I suspect it’s linked to the double feeding / overrun…it can jam on full auto (or semi).

Take the mag out, dry fire it to clear, sometimes a gel is retained in the t piece bouncing around. Knock it out, and it feeds again.

Is this normal , for LH.? Ive tried 2 different types of gel, and the same result.

Does it prefer smaller gels, and the odd larger one jams it.?

Do other LH’s do this.?

I could return it to ihobby on the double feed, im going down the coast soon to get my tax done…

I wont touch it, while its under warranty…

i reckon double feed / frequent jams is good cause for a return/swap over…

Hallelujah!! The penny’s finally dropped!

Usually you’re chasing 330+FPS

Are you running an 11.1v or 7.4v lipo in it?

Might not be the source of the problem, but some blasters will double feed on the higher voltage and play nice on the lower. :person_shrugging:

You could always try the old detent in the t piece trick. Running a drill up the feedtube part of the t piece to create a detent hole in the breech often stopsbthe loaded gel from occupying space in the t piece that allows multiple chambering of a gel.

Yeah…11v XT30. As supplied.
I’ll try a 7v…
Worth a shot…thanks.!

Yep I remember reading that somewhere, 7.4v is your go to beemer. Easy to try anyway.

Cheers for the pics, lucky you. Kinda like that platform :+1:

thats this months rent gone.!!

Revenge spend…after handing over more $$ to the ATO…quarterly payments…
You’d know all about that…!!

After handing all the bucks over to the ATO, for absolutely nothing…whats a bit more.?.?
 :expressionless:

More comprehensive review in the next couple of days…when i have some spare time…plus gustav.!
