Righto…
if your going to do something…do it once , and do it right…
I spoke to brad about levers…he had a set that should fit…but was a bit exxy…
and not silver… it would need painting…and never look right.
Finally… the original AW receiver is more “modern looking”
it has stars in the trigger ( STARS…!!! RAAAGGGHHHH!!! …woops wrong franchise!!) , stippling on the front / rear of the grip, and an extended rear.
Original Chrome 1911’s … are nearly extinct in the wild.
I got the Very Last ( display) AW 1911 from cybertrigger… at a discount…
This has…
1: both AW … so an AW slide, going on a AW Receiver
2: same colour scheme … no mix’n’match
3: small correct lever
4: no stippling, front and rear of grip.
5: smaller slide is engraved stampings.
6: Smaller hammer, not rounded, on the shorter version.
So… no levers were harmed, in the making of this replica…!!
Cant say the same about credit cards, though…!!

And, sight on.
so, this completes the " old school, classic look".
And being closest to stainless steel…non shiny chrome look.
It would be icing on the cake to have the laser align…but hey, its gel.
The laser sits miles high, and miles off to the left.
But…its a red dot, when you turn it on.
As good as it will get…
The longer safety lever, still works properly on the shorter slide.
No need to touch it.
Man, this was one expensive kit…
Another example…of the " spending spiral"…!!
@DocBob glad i don’t race hotrods…!!
All I can say is : Congralutions!
The original AMT Hardballer have a old school , classic look. You have done the right thing
I guess the next step for you is to align the laser, I done mine already.

mine now lines up laterally…
but its still high.
a bit of alignment was required, to get it to come out of the small aperture at the front.
i’ll have a bit more of a muck around…

That is what I mean getting the laser to come out of the small aperture at the front.
I done that.

Yeah…thats what i meant.
I was a bit of a job, just to get it to come out " cleanly"… and in focus.
To have it align with the iron sights…
Not gonna happen.
it sits up high, and aligns parralel to the bore.
It would need to be aligned down, quite a fair bit, to have it intersect with a " gel trajectory"…
and, only at 1 point.
im happy with parallel…!!
so you may wonder where do the lower flame of my long slide 1911 goes? It swap with another classic 1911. And you may realise my grip screws is sliver on my teminator gun
