Well…
24hrs from contemplation, to creation…!!
From decision, to acquisition…!!
After signalling interest in the AR-18 replica, Rok advised M4A1 Nambour was having a 50% off sale…and had stock…!!
I put on my racing boots, grabbed @Friendly_Fire , and zipped up to Nambour for a pre-peak hour raid…!!
First time to Nambour in a long time… we were greeted by a rambling crackhead wandering the streets…he was known to the owner…!!
Anyway, $250 for a all metal SIg 550 was too good an offer to pass up…

This is a L O N G Boy…!!
Hefty too…i’ll have arms like Arnie , from single arm weilding it…!!
It has a built in metal bipod…which is easily removable.
It then looks quite Arnie accurate…

With some of the bulk removed, the weight is more manageable.
There is no mag prime, and the fire select is ambi.
The front shrouds are held on by a pin, and come off quite easily.
I might buy a fresh 11.1 v round batt, and change the terminals.
With the stock off, there is a quick change spring access, so thats awesome for easy access…
Not that you need it…

Being a Longboi, with a massive barrel, this comes as no surprise.
The motor thunks away quite cleanly…and, with gels being fired is surprisingly quiet.
Dry firing is loud, but firing is quite quieter.
Its a LONG barrel, and i really wouldn’t wanna run around all day with this.

The SPAS is a big boi, and its the same size as folded ( and heavier)
Sig 552 full length, is same size as cut down Arnie version…
It makes the MCX rattler, look like a secondary…!!

So, in summary…
This is a pretty dang close replica, to the movie prop…
Good enough for me.!
The price…$250… an absolute steal…unfortunately they are now sold out.
I also bought a $250 sig 552, which is currently having some minor mods done… @Friendly_Fire , feel free to throw up some pics.!
Not expecting 340 fps, from that…!!
Great value for the price.
The mags are a little small on capacity, … i wonder… can a JM J11 mag be modified to fit.?
Larger capacity, and longer curved appearance…
