I love a deal, and so does everyone!
The once mighty M4A1 was split up between the original owners and new ones. Names changed etc.
Townsville M4A1 is the website one now, the Nambour one is not the same business and owners. Nambour do not have a website as such.
They may find another 550, but the condition may not be brand new in box.
Give them a call @shadow187
They are still finding things though you may need to settle with an ex-demo/ex-display model without a box or battery etc. Or might not be working and so on. The price will change to suit of course, they are good with that sort of thing.
It is a case seeing what they can find and what condition it is in, and see if the deal suits you.
Yesterday I got a few blasters that need some work. But I do love a project (and a deal!), and there is every chance I am going to pull any blaster apart for some tinkering anyway so that suits me fine!
That is not for everyone though. I prefer broken stuff for the cost reason as it is well priced, and I have loads of spares and don’t mind doing the work. I also get enjoyment from keeping something from going to waste, I guess that is my jam!
They are trying to find another suitable premises, but they didn’t get much notice.
It is a shame, and with import uncertainties I feel we are witnessing the first of many winding down as the industry struggles to stay alive until the imports are certain one way or the other.
As I have been saying, support your favourite gel businesses any way you can, as it is tough now, it is going to get tougher, and only the strongest will survive until imports can happen again (assuming they can that is! Optimism!)
The loss of this store is a big hit to me, it’s been my local for the entire almost 9 years it was there. So many fond memories, blasters, and friends from it.
Anyway, Back to the Sig 55x chat!
